It doesn't bode well though a company changing its name to Paysafe and then issuing a statement that there has been a security breach does it?

The Group intends to host a Capital Markets Day during Q4 for investors, analysts and lenders. At the event, management will set out its strategy for the combined businesses of Optimal Payments and Skrill and report on integration progress. This event will take place on 10 November 2015 in London and will be accompanied by a trading update.

The OPAY Capital Markets day on 10th November will see normal price action resumed given "strong trading" comments at half year results so for investors this is a great opportunity to top up holdings.

Security breeches are bad news for a company like OPAY the shorters will be all over this like a nasty rash but it did happen years ago and no one lost money I believe? they weren't many involved. Lots of other bigger companies have suffered security issues of late,OPAYS security systems now look sound, imo this should not effect entry into FTSE 250 and as shown in the past this is a robust growing company and will recover in due course.

2009/2010 breach of security, imo not relevant now and surprised this has been brought up ,although it has created a good buying opportunity for those funds who have to buy for the move to the main market.

Email ftsales.support@ft.com to buy additional rights. rdus Vos and James Goodman, analysts at Barclays, said the risks arising from recent cyber breaches "should not be understated". However they added: "It appears to us that both Neteller and Skrill suffered one historical data breach each in 2009/10 that were professionally and robustly dealt with at the time."They said there was no reason to assume further breaches had gone undetected, and described the early decline in Optimal's share price as "disproportionate, although understandable".
