23/8/2016 07:57 | another big placing coming at 50p? | dlku
23/8/2016 07:33 | We can look forward to the 15th then to hear what the management have to say for themselves....I hope they don't announce the Lanco deal! :)Regards,Source. | source
21/8/2016 14:39 | Hi ballychan - from a subscription service I have. Also my other Stockopedia subscription is still to update its figures to the new lower eps forecasts as well, but will likely do so as the month progresses. I think that may be why other public sites may still be showing the older higher eps forecasts for now?Regards,Source. | source
20/8/2016 23:45 | Where did you find the eps numbers you stated? | ballychan
18/8/2016 21:21 | Just had a look at forward eps forecasts for 2017 & 2018, and just to recap the prior years picture first:- Concencus across all 3 brokers was 6.78p for 31st March 2016, (per all forecasts held upto the end of June). The lowest, Shore Capital, had 6.6p and the highest, Cantors, had 7.51p... For 2017 the concensus is now 7.84p For 2018 concensus is now 9.3p ...So Both have dropped from higher forecasts before August. Regards, Source. | source
18/8/2016 14:00 | A useful 56k buy at 71.75p takes the buyers ahead of the sellers 141k/40k. The closer we get to the Interims, the sooner the share price will move up in anticipation of strong numbers. | azalea
18/8/2016 12:30 | MMs try to make a market, in other words get people to buy and sell. If nothing is happening they will try to move the price either way to stimulate activity. | polythene
18/8/2016 12:10 | What's more weird is it OPENED DOWN today and yesterday on zero volume. Not sure how/why MM's mark the open down on no trades! | ballychan
18/8/2016 11:55 | This share is really weird like that -- almost all the time buys show as sells and vice verse. Shouldn't be allowed really by the MM's, but there we are. Regards,Source. | source
18/8/2016 11:46 | All mostly buys today and share price is down ??? | s25ava
17/8/2016 15:13 | slowly and surely | qs99
15/8/2016 09:45 | Nice moves continuing today. Bit more of this and it should hopefully "normalise" it's price a bit. Regards,Source. | source
12/8/2016 13:07 | Buyers moving in on the dip, catching the MM out on a Friday. | azalea
11/8/2016 12:33 | Thanks Marvelman - believe me I'd love to "rave" a bit more about OPG, but past experience unforunately tells me it has a lot more work to do before it makes me feel like its management is executing properly & realise its shareholder potential. In particularly its constant droops EPS expectations over the course of its years have become a pattern and is what is hurting it in my view. When that happens I am sure OPG's shareprice will feel more credible and assured to me. Also be great to have confirmation that the large seller has finally exited...That too may help. Regards, Source. P.S. Dave - of course you are right, but I have a habit of trying to listen to alls opinions, even when they are not immediately sensible to me! Yes I know a glutton for punishment! | source
11/8/2016 11:44 | I have an apology to make. I salute all you good people who do your best to save other potential investors from the rubbish that Azalea posts. For my part I chose to use the filter option and leave it at that. Carry on the good work. | daveofdevon
11/8/2016 10:50 | Source Despite the latest sharp rise I see your feet are still firmly on the ground. Wish we had more posters like you around the boards with your unbiased pragmatic views. Regards. | marvelman
11/8/2016 10:44 | Azalea you were saying all the same things all the way down to 50p odd. Now it's thankfully reversed direction you belatedly trot out the very same garbage. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, however you're abysmal record rarely even reaches these heights of accuracy!Back on topic though, I am concerned though OPG May still be entertaining a Lanco type deal. Could this mean OPG trying to do a rights issue that could heavily dilute holders? &/Or ramp up company debt even further than today's high levels. (Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't an imminent rights issue one of the concerns/rumours that actually started the rot as OPG fell from £1 down to 50p ish. )Regards,Source. | source
11/8/2016 10:00 | Azalea- blinkeritus is a serious condition - dangerous to your wealth! Please get some help! | jozo
11/8/2016 09:47 | The range of positive data and the recent rise in the sp, should convince most readers that your constant criticism of OPG - now reduced to an expansive two word post, no longer has any credibility. | azalea
10/8/2016 13:19 | Pumper alert. Regards,Source. | source
10/8/2016 11:12 | Given the significant rises we can expect in eps, based on 750MW output being achieved in a market where national demand is unlikely ever to be matched by supply; the beginning of dividend payments this calender year and brokers share price targets, suggests the talking is just about over and its now just a case of sitting back and watching the various factors coming together to push the price up to a point where it reflects fair value. | azalea
10/8/2016 09:17 | The purchase of the two new build 64k freighters,to be delivered in Jan 2017(fully paid),was a JV. OPG half share payments of $9m a year will end this year. Its latest upload in plant capacity will keep its share of the freight capacity busy importing coal from Indonesia. | azalea
09/8/2016 23:03 | Oh and the ships? I don't really agree with that. But not big investment in the round, reduces coal costs and increased flexibility . Their plant can burn pretty much anything, and the ships aren't out money materially. | andycapp1 |
