09/12/2010 16:37 | Here we go again for a second day. Incomprehensible share price action after excellent results and even better prospects. 38p bid now and 9p of that represents cash in the bank. So only 29p values the business at £19 million with turnover of £31 million and profit of £2.3 million and no debt. Plus a dividend too! 3 years ago the share price was 67p and the performance was nowhere near what it is now. Extremely undervalued IMHO. No trading to justify an share price drop today either with 18000 shares bought and 16000 sold out of 67 million in issue. A totally misunderstood company which shouldn't be listed under pharmaceuticals anyway. | bbonsall
08/12/2010 15:52 | They still don't get it do they? There is no way it should be dropping from here. It ought to be making a steady climb into the 50s. Value £27 million, turnover £31 million, profit £2.3 million and £6.2 million cash! | bbonsall
03/12/2010 14:10 | Follow through from yesterdays results so Im in on the confirmed breakout today. | old joe1
03/12/2010 10:16 | Thanks GingerPlant. It is new. The 2011 forecast was 3.0. It is now 3.6p. I have updated the web page linked in post 731. . 2011 2012 p/e 10.6 7.4 EV/tax adjusted EBIT 8.3 7.0 The above is at a share price of 38.25p | wilmdav
03/12/2010 08:50 | Evolution eps f/c to end Sept 2012 now 5.2p. How new is that f/c? | gingerplant
02/12/2010 23:56 | Very impressive overall results but the segmental notes are quite revealing. Could be a flyer if all cylinders start firing. | wilmdav
02/12/2010 19:30 | DM3 - I think they were issued back in 2001/2002 perhaps as part of the IPO. These options expire in Jan 2011 so they had to be exercised or lost. No problem as far as I'm concerned and visible to all in the annual report. SJ | sailing john
02/12/2010 18:29 | 700K shares at 2.6p is not bad!!! How do they decide the price for these options? OMG have not been anywhere near that price | davemac3
02/12/2010 15:39 | If the profits had not been hit by the £1.9m writedown the eps would have been around 3p giving us a historic PE of 13 today. So with continued growth we should see earnings upgrades, making today's share price cheap, in my opinion. Seems to me that current performance and prospects warrants an share price nearer 60p, just IMHO | bbonsall
02/12/2010 08:47 | Chairman - gushing! with excitement thoughout his statement Bet he needed Oxygen after writing that!!! Not got into the detail yet but looks excellent - as expected And market appears to think so too +11% as I type :-)SJ | sailing john
02/12/2010 08:00 | I'm happy to be in a position to announce some good news for our shareholders. I'm very conscious that, since I became Chairman in 2002, I have continually been asking for your patience, in regarding OMG as an investment with great long-term potential. At last, we are reaching a point where that potential and the endless possibilities we have talked about so enthusiastically are starting to turn into solid performance, reflected this year in a significantly increased dividend. | garth
02/12/2010 07:57 | Pre-tax profit miles ahead of expectations - eps forcasts for this year should be hiked imo. CR | cockneyrebel

We registered record sales and profits, signed the biggest single contract in the history of the Group, and saw our businesses achieve some notable successes across their various markets. We won long-term business that guarantees significantly greater security and stability of income and we've ended the year with over GBP6 million in the bank. This performance is particularly pleasing given the difficult market conditions last year, with all three divisions showing good growth and strengthening pipelines. "Looking ahead to 2010/11, the Board and I remain committed to building shareholder value and continued growth, both within our existing businesses and through acquisition. Whilst the economic outlook remains uncertain, the Group's performance over the last year entitles us to feel confident about the future. With our strategy tested in the toughest conditions imaginable, and with innovative products and services establishing positions of strength in an increasingly wide range of markets around the world, there's every reason to believe that OMG can achieve even more in 2010/11, and over the years to come." | garth

02/11/2010 08:00 | Yes, but I have, unfortunately, remained invested with a big (for me) chunk here since I bought at about these levels last time around. Now hoping to revisit my highs again, soonish. | bbonsall
01/11/2010 17:30 | Sorry, I meant recent highs - recent history here is all that matters to me at the moment, tho looking back in 07 when these were at this level the rise was pretty stunning :-) CR | cockneyrebel

26/10/2010 16:04 | Down by 5.3%! Despite all the pointers OMG is still not understood. Doesn't help OMG being listed in the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology sector either. Maybe the penny will drop soon. | bbonsall
