I guess a slighty predictable pullback today on a dribble of sells. But I note all those shares snapped up in two larger trades this afternoon. The bid rose just before the close so I expect us to be up again tomorrow morning and resume the recent rise.

Some interesting late trades reported after hours. The 750k trade at 18.2p would appear to be that of Mr Sneller.

Knocking on 20p's door now. Things looking very promising indeed. MM's have no stock and talk about going down on every sell (barrywhit) I'm seeing it move UP on every buy.

Hardman have today published their March markets review, with a page on each of the companies in their research universe.

ODX' page doesn't say anything new, but concludes as follows FYI, with forecasts of 1.14p EPS for the year about to end and 1.25p EPS for this coming year:

"Investment summary: Being an established player with a wide range of tests available globally makes ODX attractive. Careful management and re-investment of resources is resulting in an exciting period of new product launches. Expansion of the current relationship with IDH for Allersys towards a more extensive global distribution arrangement makes strategic sense."

20p on the offer...1.5p spread!!Market is as tight as a gnat's chuff and it looks to me like this will be pushed along in the next couple of days as selling does seem to have dried up.We should be due news on CE approval for the malaria tests too.

Just done a bit of research on morningstar.

Major shareholders, institutions and directors hold an impressive 70.5% of this quality company. Richard Sneller is now second largest shareholder just behind L&G.

No wonder it moves on relatively small demand!

Longshanks - agreed on all counts - including the possibility of a placing to support taking Visitect CD4 to full commercialisation. And I don't actually think this will prove to be a fly in the ointment. This is because it will remove any uncertainty and a strengthening of the BS will be seen as a positive catalyst to support the accelerated growth Visitect will eventually bring. Its not going to be a typical aim working capital keep the lights on fundraising. This will signal a step change for ODX. A company which, in any case, does not have a track history of going to the market for capital. Bring it on I say!

The 200d moving average tells you everything you need to know.We have seen steady appreciation in the share price over the last year but that, I feel, is about to step up a gear.In a year's time I fully expect this to be trading at around 27p, and that alone based on progress with Allersys. Add in news on visitect - CD4 commercialisation and/or decent sales of the malaria tests out of Pune and this could easily see mid 30's.The only fly in the ointment is funding. A small placing may be inevitable and probably explains the absence of any director purchases.

Dibs, no one did say that, I'm saying it will take more than a Holding RNS to move the share, no one wants this to move more than me, I have been holding for 4years
all in my SIPP would like to still be alive when it does rise....

Barry - don't recall anyone saying a holdings RNS would bring a rerating? I just made IMO a justifiable bullish comment upon it.

I agree with longshanks that momentum is building with the fundamentals all looking so encouraging for accelerating long term growth.

Nah....This is developing nicely and whilst news will certainly hasten the price appreciation, I think it is just a matter of enough peeps smelling a sustainable profit and being tempted in.That is starting to happen.

Trouble is longshanks, you only need a sell and we drop......our time will come but it will take news, not a holding RNS......IMO

Must have been a large sell order over the last few months for Sneller to collect his shares and even todays buys aren't moving the offer....

Well Mr Sneller is certainly taking ODX very seriously. Pumping serious amounts of his own wealth into this largely overlooked company.

Quite unusual I feel for an investment professional to put so much faith in one company. Surprised it isn't generating more excitement because with his stake he'll have the ear of the board.

With a MKT.CAP of £20million not big enough to attract large Funds, when they start to generate income from CD4, India facility and The allergy platform i'm sure they will start to take ODX seriously.....a few director buys might also help show a bit of confidence to the market......

LOL Barry. This explains some of the recent trades, but it is clear too that our Mr Sneller doesn't like overpaying and has been picking up loose stock only as and when it comes available. But yes - it is good to have a fund manager continuously acquiring stock for his own personal account. Surprised it hasn't encouraged some other funds to think about taking a punt - but given the lowly market cap - perhaps it is not too unsurprising.

Yep - he's bought another 1.25m shares since November and is above 11% now.

Shame really. Without him I suspect we'd have been able to buy shedloads at 16p or even less :o((

Buyers will come...We just need the catalyst for them to see this as more than just a tired, low-growth med-tech stock. It will happen, but when, oh when.Come on ODX - strut your stuff.

Hi Leeds,

unfortunately mate there is only a handful of Investors that are prepared to buy at the moment, so when we have a seller we don't have sufficient buyers to take up the sells....but hopefully getting near to some news on the IDH situation and an update on the Indian plant and CD4....
