Maybe they have to. The Floating Charge announced on Christmas Eve (an obvious day for trying to bury news like that) made everything look a little too cosy between the riggers on the good ship OHM.

Terms:
1) The credit line facility of up to $2 million is to be provided equally by affiliates of East Hill and Seatrans (the "Lenders") to Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc
2) The interest rate is set at 5% above US prime (which is currently 3.25%) and is payable by OHM to the Lenders quarterly in arrears commencing on 31st March 2010 and quarterly thereafter on 30th June, 30th September and 31 December.
3) Security cover will be a joint Floating Charge in favour of the Lenders covering all of the assets of the Company and its main trading subsidiaries, OHM Ltd and Rock Solid Images Inc.

Accordingly as a result of the professional and familial relationships between
Johan Hvide, Wollert Hvide and Lars Helge Kyrkjeboe and the level of control
exercised by them over ETS, Sector and Skips respectively, the Panel deems ETS,
Sector and Skips to be "acting in concert". This Concert Party currently holds
20,855,305 Ordinary Shares representing 29.99 per cent. of the Company's
existing issued share capital before the First Placing.

This bit is interesting.



"* a shareholder must make an offer when its shareholding, including that of parties acting in concert (a "concert party"), reaches 30% of the target;"

If they buy any more.

East Hill bought into the recent placing at 22p, I wonder if they might be averaging down?

Bones - do you think that Sector Asset Management could be in the market for more shares? The way the bid is being walked up as you mention indicates that the MMs are happy to encourage sellers. I wonder if there's a background buyer here.

12.7p to sell near the end , judging by the trades on plus. It seems to be moving very easily on any buying pressure.

Still 12.5p to sell. They are just walking it up slowly to try not to attract attention. Any serious buying and this could rocket.

granada i've been picking them up in bits and pieces last couple of days and using fill and kills in between...today paid 12.75 when 12.25 for 50k..as see these rising past 16p over short term and hopefully with news we start to get a rerating. Lol didnt even bother asking for 100k as expected they would stitch me up...so go for lower volume and hit them for nms 10k at fill or kill...that way getting a wee bit more but not getting completely stitched up.

Selftrade now offering 25k at 13.5p so guess as we approach 16p you'll have no bother buying your next tranche of 500k.

I think its fairly obvious that those with a clue (e.g. Sector) can value this a lot better than Mr. Market. Value will out.

well they dont have much stock had to pay 12.75 for 50k just now...looks like we will continue up as they soak up the stock. gl all a stock to hold and forget about.:)

And they placed shares at 16p when the price was 5p?

WOW

amazed in todays economic climate they did that.

Not in here yet, but will look to buy.
