26/10/2004 17:46 | Could be a volatile day tomorrow! Who is Simon Cowan? | exotic

22/10/2004 15:07 | Looks like every one has OFFUX OFF | vision88
14/10/2004 14:47 | LONDON (AFX) - Zyzygy PLC confirmed that it is considering the possibility of making an offer for OFEX Holdings PLC. It emphasised that these deliberations are at a very early stage and that there is no certainty that an offer for OFEX will result. newsdesk@afxnews.com slm/ | vision88
11/10/2004 09:59 | we could see some migration from aim into ofex | vision88
10/10/2004 11:57 | You might be right for micro caps. I have long since thought that the costs of AIM - £30-50k per annum are too high for companies with a market cap of £1-2m. OFEX will be the natural home provided liquidity improves. | topvest
09/10/2004 22:06 | Currypasty I think this deal stinks. The company wanted to raise money when the share price was significantly higher Brokers said no price came down following their forced admission that they had little money and might need to shut the doors and then low and behold in comes the cheap money and by the way ...off you go JPJ....welcome Simon BG what a fix.No No No! hopefully before this pile of.... is put to bed someone will come up with a better solution.!!! who will SUPPORT the share price now or shouldnt we say this I hope they all catch a cold on this.63 million I suppose thats 3m for the company and 150,000 (5%) for Numis Its scandalous!! | ant15
08/10/2004 20:34 | Excellent news for the private investor today. Maybe this is the turning point! Will OFEX manage to become a serious competitor to AIM? I think the chances are now better than they have ever been. Winterflood subscribing for shares is also a very big vote of confidence. | topvest
08/10/2004 17:35 | well thats good news for ofx , not sure now if the price will drip further back, but im sure the placong will be over subscribed to , which when completed will lift this back above 8=9p in short order. | vision88
08/10/2004 08:41 | The Company has today announced a Placing of up to 63,000,000 new Ordinary Shares at 5p per share to raise up to GBP3,150,000 million before expenses. The Placing has been underwritten as to the minimum amount of GBP2,841,000 by Numis. This is a significant equity fundraising for the Company and the Placing Shares represent 74.5 per cent. of the Enlarged Issued Share Capital | currypasty
07/10/2004 16:27 | befor considering if a 5p share issue is worth it or not, rather depends how many share are to be offered, how much dilution ??? they may not need to go that route. | vision88
07/10/2004 12:42 | anyone got their name down for the issue ? | currypasty
07/10/2004 11:19 | the maket price should be around the 5p, dont think there will be any takers for the company over this fig as company needs about 2mil to continue forward | my way
07/10/2004 11:15 | Any ideas on when this should settle ? | polleyn
07/10/2004 09:49 | I like the transparency of these companies - quick announcements before any speculation, and reminders that the talks are very preliminary and they plan to issue shares at 5p. If only more companies could find people with brain cells! | rarther
06/10/2004 21:04 | Myway I would not be so sure Zyz have some friends in high places and some pretty persuasive advisers I am told. This could be a very interesting meeting of minds.I dont hold ofex but hold zyz and from what I have seen today certainly in terms of share price Ofex holders havent done too badly....I am not complaining either. So the moral might well be lets sit quiet and see for a while and let others speculate.ant | ant15
06/10/2004 17:20 | RL what bad timing selling yesterday..........d | insiderboy
06/10/2004 17:07 | Zyz will not get control, and up to 3 mil is needed to carry company through. | my way
06/10/2004 16:49 | RL OFX needs a lot more than £150k!!! More likely 50m + shares. | tawnyport
06/10/2004 16:48 | You couldnt make it up, RL you dolt if you actually acted upon my repeated advice to open a telephone account with HB and get T20 as standard you would still be holding and therefore had an oppurtunity to profit, dont expect a 7.5k credit limit though, i imagine theyll let you have a few k and once they get to know you they will likely make it deposit only. Or maybe not lol. | jedi shorter
06/10/2004 16:44 | Hiya, thanks double6 for your support. I forgot that logica2me sent them out. Though a guy from the city checked them out and where told there no good, so I did not bother putting in £3,000. Still good job I did not since it would of been much worst if I invested £3,000 and sold those off too. The dilution effect was mentioned by one of the papers, of about 3m shares to be issued at 5p, to give the company the working captial they need. Though now its a question whether they get taken over or fall back down, or whether they get a bid and a higher one come along. Ofex still remain a speculative gamble. | responsible lad
06/10/2004 16:43 | Remind me never to question RL's genius ever again. RL - never listen to me - up 71% - amazing. Teo is up 13% though :-) | britishbear
06/10/2004 16:22 | Never mind RL - thought you were quiet on here today - good LOG tip again - he knows his stuff! | double6 |
