07/6/2010 18:37 | Quite interesting times. I wonder what is going on? | timely3
07/6/2010 17:14 | It's an increase in his holding of over 1% which is quite interesting given that he has left the board. | ghbg
07/6/2010 16:40 | The Company was informed on 4 June 2010 that Graham Axford and interests associated with him acquired 600,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in Oak on 3 June 2010. That's £30,000 - isn't that the tax free redundancy allowance? I guess that's why the share price popped up earlier this month. We should run a sweep on when it'll drop back again. | gbb483
05/6/2010 13:16 | I suppose I could ask direct - the contacts that were previously directors have left. Any way I will do that. | ghbg
05/6/2010 10:39 | Why don't you ask the company direct? Personally I am more interested in hearing news about future developments, and in particular the clearance of the planning permission by the Government Office. | timely3
05/6/2010 09:26 | You miss the point. The stock exchange announcements are there but the accounts are shown as late at Companies House. Why? The notification of the resignation of a director should have been made to Companies House. It is not. Why? If the company are keeping management accounts they will know the position as at the end of April. They could issue a trading update just as they did at October 2009. Each year a AGM statement has been published. This year, nothing. | ghbg
04/6/2010 19:19 | Taking your points in turn: I can't answer the first point, but as you say the results were released within the LSE timescale. The resignation of the director was in the RNS dated 19th May 2010. If it issued a date it would be pure guess work as the decision is with the Government Office. I am sure the company will issue news just as soon as it has anything factual to report. | timely3
04/6/2010 07:03 | Notwithstanding the results were released in March why are they shown as overdue at Companies House? Why is there no notification of the recent resignation of the director? Why does the company not update its shareholders about timescale as to whether extended application is to be "called in" or not. Interim results are due end of July. A trading update would be helpful. | ghbg
19/5/2010 20:06 | Possibly he is going to take over the company????????????? | cindaraa
19/5/2010 19:31 | Looking at past annual returns yes he is near to it but chairman is older and age is no reason to give up a non executive directorship. | ghbg
19/5/2010 11:21 | Looking at his cv on , it's possible he's reached a significant birthday. | gbb483
19/5/2010 06:59 | The downside remains that it now has to go back to the regional authority to ascertain whether or not it is to be called in. Expect more lobbying from CPRE. It's funny how an unelected self promoting minority body thinks it speaks for the people when the project could, subject to financing, create many jobs. Equally I note from the article that there is an interview due on Friday with the man behind the YES project. I assume they mean someone from Oak. Perhaps OAH would be better producing a holding statement RNS so we shareholders would have a full trading update and project update (now released post 7am) Why has there been a resignation from the Board of the person responsible for the recent fund raising and interested in 5.75% of the shares - why would you do that when you have such a vested interest in the shares? | ghbg
18/5/2010 18:49 | What it needs is backing by the bankers. | gbb483
18/5/2010 16:50 | good post that (1020) A TRAIL-blazing £350 million leisure complex hailed as "the jewel in Rotherham's crown" has been given renewed backing after planners gave it the thumbs-up for the second time. | andrbea
18/5/2010 13:44 | ghbg - a good post. I am a little concerned by the long list of objection points raised by CPRE and their request to be heard in person. | pifedayo
17/5/2010 21:34 | Planning application was on the agenda today 17th May | ghbg
17/5/2010 18:38 | It does seem a pointless exercise. Are they obliged to do so I wonder according to Aim rules? I believe their planning application is due to be considered soon which I guess is the next milestone. | timely3
17/5/2010 17:58 | So they've finally re-issued the warrants paperwork following the 1 for 50 consolidation. Given that the warrants allow you to buy at 119p (or there abouts) - the question has to be .. why bother with the exercise? | gbb483
21/4/2010 12:23 | So nothing new out of the AGM today. The surge of interest following the results has turned into a damp squib, and the fall following the placement has continued from where it left off (as I said before, there's no need for anyone to keep the price propped up any more). | gbb483
15/4/2010 14:17 | Oak Holdings last result very promising....Quite cheap price thought when they turned to be profitable...So bought today more | gdasinv2
13/4/2010 17:35 | gbb483 - why would the price fall encourage sales if there is a big buy in the background - is it to panic people into selling because the price is falling? | ghbg
13/4/2010 11:05 | The price has been jittering about these last two days with no trades - I guess there's a big buy in the background and there's a bit of tree shaking going on. | gbb483
06/4/2010 18:13 | I hope you are proved to be right gdasinv2 as I am a holder of these. Very little interest in the shares though at the moment. | timely3
05/4/2010 23:26 | Finest Real estate and Entertainment opportunity here, price is quite cheap | gdasinv2 |
