13/1/2010 13:39 | Well "Captain Mainwaring" says don't panic ! .. Lol | paragon157
13/1/2010 12:57 | Well that is the general idea..... Have a look at this whilst we wait: | fairdeal2008
13/1/2010 09:48 | The EGM will pass all the reolutions, Souhtbank will accept deal and the new company will be up and running next week. There will be aproximately 25 million shares in issue, and assuming the market believes that Southbank was worth circa £10 million then as that will constitute 52% of new business then by my calculations the new company should be worth circa £19 million i.e. 76p a share after consolidation of existing shares. i.e at the price of capital raising from institutions. Institutional investors are not charities as i have stated before i am sure they are confident in the forecasts and expectations in the new venture ti have offered new capital on those valuation assumptions. Southbank has a better funding Nviro has better cashflow to pursue its promissing new ventures. This is all in my honest opinion. | warwick69
12/1/2010 18:07 | Thats odd.It shouldn't make any difference and more likely to be positive with less stock around. | redhill
12/1/2010 18:01 | Let's face it, we are all stuck here till the consolidation, unless we want to take a loss now! | dancing piranha
12/1/2010 17:51 | Means real price not the consolidated price. In real terms of value....will be a lower value....for instance 45 pence will be lower than 5 pence in real value after the consolodation....... | johndee
12/1/2010 17:37 | the only way that the shares wont be consolidated is if that part of the vote at the EGM doesnot allow it....thus you are saying by default that the market thinks it wont be passed as the price is higher than what it will be on friday after the vote is this the implication of your reasoning? | darren81
12/1/2010 11:53 | all very steady here. Looking forward to the 15th, see where this goes....I suspect down based on my other recent consolidations, but I hope not! | porketh
11/1/2010 15:26 | Lol .. Our "Spiv/MM" friends don't really know what to make of the situation ! | paragon157
11/1/2010 15:25 | Thanks .. bones30 | paragon157
10/1/2010 15:12 | No I'm not in NVR, it was ramped to me by a couple of posters a while back (who I shall not name) they told me how great the stock was and how they were investing long term, they apparently now do not hold and sold out at 8p! Glad I didn't invest. Also it's a clean tech company and not a resource stock so isn't something I would invest in anyway. In regards renewables I very much like GKO, future Indian power needs are massive, there making money and are already profitable. Hope you decide to research BAO and AAAM. If you do then also look at DME & FND as copper plays. Regards, JF | jonny flame
08/1/2010 09:37 | JF, It wasn't the actual advice i took issue with just the way it was phrased! Anyway i dont want to clog up this board with irrelevance as i know how annoying that is. Are you in NVR then? | omega09
08/1/2010 01:12 | And in Malta ! .. Lol | paragon157
07/1/2010 16:23 | paragon157 - 7 Jan'10 - 11:02 - 5967 of 5968 Cheap as chips ! they are expensive here in Saudi. | pork belly
07/1/2010 16:17 | omega09 - commodity prices are storming away, I notice you have tipped TNZ in post 5958. Remember when you took issue with my post on the SHG bb in regards investing in commodities and commodity related stocks and how you got offended when I suggest you focus your portfolio on commodity related stocks? Now your tipping TNZ! Iron ore stocks are doing well, BAO, AAAM, & LOND. | jonny flame
07/1/2010 11:02 | Cheap as chips ! | paragon157
06/1/2010 23:48 | Consolidation was not good for TAN and typically appears to be bad for an share price short term, however, I'm hoping that this is different due to the RTO and potential ultimate change to the business - We just need a decent RNS on the same day or shortly after. Either way, I'm staying put. | gs430navmw
06/1/2010 23:03 | ...couldn't be worse than it is already or could be !?! | waleriuszwatrobka
06/1/2010 18:48 | I think many are spooked by the 1 for 10.........mostly does bad things to the share price | johndee
06/1/2010 15:57 | I agree! That's why I've decided to hold at least until the RTO is fully sorted out and everything's clearer than it is now. All I'm saying is, I can understand why people would sell. Particularly now, when other small-caps are leaving NVR in their wake. | tokyojohn
06/1/2010 15:51 | They will not give up on the green technology the RNS had to state what they said as they had to cover all eventualities, but I guess the companies waiting to invest in the new venture are well versed on the expectaions. The future is not just about clean coal it is about improved efficiencies and the new company will be able to offer the combination of a new world class efficient bollier with the combination of more efficient burning of the fuel. Thus improving margins for the production of power, which will be essential in the next few decades. | warwick69
06/1/2010 15:36 | Because most stocks have been flying for 3 days straight and they think there are better gains to be made elsewhere as other small-caps recover their losses from Q4 2009? Because they invested in a green tech company and they're about to get a valve company instead, with the green tech being dropped unless a deal materialises ASAP? I'm not selling, but I can understand those that do. | tokyojohn
06/1/2010 15:21 | Really do not understand why people would sell with such expectations of merger and fund raising at 50% premium to current price must be mad!!!! | warwick69
06/1/2010 14:59 | Not that bloody word "shortly" again... FD, how the hell did you manage to flag that a few minutes before it shot up? Sadly I was out and missed all the action, though I see it's coming down again now. | tokyojohn |
