Numis acting on upcoming Afilias IPO + US$100m placing...


"The Placing will comprise an offer of new and existing Ordinary Shares. New Ordinary Shares to be issued by the Company are expected to raise gross proceeds of approximately US$100 million. The net proceeds from the Placing receivable by the Company will be used to pursue its growth strategy, as described above...

...It is currently expected that Admission will take place in November 2014...

In relation to the Placing and Admission, Numis Securities Limited ("Numis") is acting as nominated adviser and broker, financial adviser and bookrunner to the Company."

Numis Corporation Plc

Trading Update

Wednesday 1(st) October 2014 at 7.00am: Numis Corporation Plc ("Numis") today issued a trading update relating to the year ended 30(th) September 2014.

Full year revenues from our core activities have grown by 19%.

Whilst our second half performance did not match that of the same period last year, reflecting lower market volumes, Numis successfully completed a further 21 equity issuances in the second half, including 11 IPOs. This brings the total number of transactions for the year to 44, including 16 IPOs and for the second year in succession, funds raised exceeded GBP2billion.

Within the overall numbers, our secondary business also performed well. Combined institutional commission and trading revenues for the full year exceeded the previous record set in our last financial year.

Our corporate client list continues to grow with a net addition of 15 during the year bring the total for whom we act to 171.

Numis will announce full preliminary results for the year ended 30(th) September 2014 on Thursday 4(th) December 2014.

After doing well with CNKS which I am holding NUM seems obviously oversold even without a big AA type deal and have got in here too as the IPO and broker business generally is in a sweet spot in the UK so expecting strong results.GLA . DYOR.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question 123. But I bought on the strength of CNKS as the two companies are very similar, well run etc. The fact that forecasts are so illusive is probably the reason in itself for the discount.

been looking at this share and picked up a few in the 240's recently, hard to find many forecasts but the last reports by the company were encouraging and with the good updates from Cenkos recently would anyone who is closer to this share have any idea why Numis is some 25% below the highs of earlier this year when Cenkos are breaking all time highs

Took a small position here today, it looks undervalued based on H1 and the continued share buy backs. Can't find any detailed forecast but the last interim results looked solid.

Good balance sheet with significant cash. Cashflow - only negatives for me were the significant increase in receivables and the quite high recurring share scheme charges.

from a TA perspective there was a potential -ve divergence between share price and both RSI and MACD which played out. However the current candle pattern suggests a potential reversal. Would have liked to have seen more volume though.

seems to be range bound between 235/265p, break up thro resistance and 300p looks to be next resistance level.

It's an initial punt will watch closely.
