16/4/2008 21:35 | This is starting to hurt..... Would have sold by now usually, but I'm convinced at the longer term prospect for uranium prices. Regards Z | zapherz
16/4/2008 16:45 | Trader Horne-do you have a link to that please | 5benny
16/4/2008 16:42 | I have posted on "U" BB thread about U price situation. | trader horne
16/4/2008 13:08 | $ getting caned.has to be good for nu | juju43
16/4/2008 12:08 | Anticipated world wide economoic slow down won't help, but it does seem that the so called "experts" called it wrong this year. Stil think long term this will be a gem, but fair value currently £2.44 based on U3o8 at $68/lb, which is only about 10p up from here. I got stopped out earlier this year, I'm looking to get back in, but I want to see at least some evidence of hardening U prices first... | tilmanstone
16/4/2008 09:34 | oh dear. where is this bull market in uranium | juju43
15/4/2008 22:55 | U3O8 down 3 again to $68 | tilmanstone
11/4/2008 08:27 | looks like recovery is underway at last | juju43
07/4/2008 12:27 | rarely see the spread as tight | juju43
03/4/2008 19:49 | Stuart - whats the ETF called? | thebigswingingdick
03/4/2008 10:21 | U3O8 down again to $71 | tilmanstone
02/4/2008 22:07 | yes - all on the prevailing sentiment, a bubble formed on most small oil explorers 2 years ago, but any releasing actual good news can rocket as recently - need stock picking & luck. yet possible recession/U.S. oil stocks higher than expected today & oil price rises! difficult with possible other agendas about. | gurp
02/4/2008 19:12 | I think U is an interesting case, I guess like many bubbles. The facts the so called experts were touting were all true, but the timescale they work to, but what the crowd perceive are all way off. Hence you get a speculative bubble that crashes. BUT, I still think that Nuclear is the fuel of the future and therefore U prices have to rise long term. My only other issue is AIM which is a dying market at the moment. I'd much rather invest on another market now. There is an ETF that tracks a range of U related stocks from Miners, to refiners to Power Station builders. I think I might put my money there instead. I've also got to surive this bear market on my oil stocks, who'd have thought with 100$ oil so many would be struggling like they are. | stuart14
02/4/2008 18:54 | Maybe people deleveraging like with gold? | cootuk
02/4/2008 07:45 | Stuart: You've hit the nail on the head re. the U price: If you believe its going up then this is a sure fire bet, trouble is its actually been in decline sine the start of the year, going against all the so called "experts" who predicted the bull run would continue relentlessly for Uranium. I, like you, am biding my time | tilmanstone
01/4/2008 16:08 | Surely with a NAV of 265p it is a good buy now, especially if you think U is going up long-term. I'm going to start watching here more closely. | stuart14
01/4/2008 15:49 | just a little smirk! what's a turnip? | gurp
30/3/2008 21:31 | RBF, usually use indicators/chart to give a better entry/exit trade timing, did offload some on failure at the top of the channel end of Feb (should have disposed of the lot!) secondary to sp/fundamentals - but in NU. case the fundies seem a bit misty to me esp with the U price in limbo! I put a lot of faith in the macd signals, done me proud in the past, but dyor | gurp
28/3/2008 20:49 | being hammered on miniscule volumes but there is no evidence of any bull market in uranium | juju43
28/3/2008 20:24 | "turnip" would be more appropriate | juju43
28/3/2008 17:38 | this certainly continues to be an interesting situation... grateful for some info on "indicators suggest a turnup"... | rbf
28/3/2008 13:45 | indicators suggest a turnup, so holding on | gurp
27/3/2008 17:50 | I hope that 63k share purchase reported after hours is genuine. This does look way over sold... | tilmanstone |
