24/5/2005 13:31 | shares5 from the AGM statement it is. AGM statement a mixed bag regarding Q1, but reading all the component parts carefully and adding them together, I'd say H1 will be close to last year, perhaps a tad lower, H2 will be above, and the future years are looking good due to the AMP4 getting underway and the good order book and therefore good overhead recovery in most segments. Expect divi a bit higher this year and looking for continued progress in the medium term, price target remains well over #2, perhaps #2.50 is "fair value". My opinion... | edmundshaw
08/4/2005 16:16 | can anybody tell me if the marconi contract is safe as this will account for 20 million in turnover per year | shares5
08/4/2005 12:58 | THIS ONE IS GONNA GRADUALLY GROW TO £3 per share. 7.4.05. DAVOS THE UNDERVALUED COMPANY KING | d4vos
30/3/2005 08:51 | Company congratulating itself on the rerating of the share. Hang on a moment, I thought we did that! I demand some of the credit! ;-) ...but all credit to the management for the results. Still, the rerating is not keeping up with the progress and expansion of the co in my opinion. Suits me, I'll just continue to hold and accept the growing dividend, still undervalued by a good 25%... And given what's happening to some small shares at the moment, NMD is nice and solid. Its low alpha gives some risk-reducing diversification benefits. | edmundshaw
23/3/2005 19:38 | This one sure gives you one hell of a ride. Could go much higher when word gets out. | sandywinder
23/3/2005 13:16 | LONDON (AFX) - North Midland Construction PLC reported record annual profit and said it has already secured a workload of 100 mln stg for 2005. 22/3/2005 09:27 | results should be out soon, anybody know when? | jay178
01/3/2005 15:32 | Not on the AIM exchange, SEATS. Though my broker couldn't tell me! AIM requires at least two brokers, and there used to be only one... Nice new contract, likely on decent terms. Not massive at about 5% of current turnover, but 5 year term which adds to the feeling of stability and growth. | edmundshaw
28/2/2005 11:06 | aderemi Thanks for that quite interesting stuff - especially the about the trades not being reported. I'd wondered about that myself. Good RNS as well. | paulieuk
22/2/2005 16:57 | ES (or anyone else) Have you any thoughts on the liquidity of the stock holding back further gains? | paulieuk
21/2/2005 11:34 | Keep trying! It will be worth it. Still sitting on the shares I bought from 107p. I thought I was a little late to the party then! But with full year results already in the bag putting the PE comfortably under 10, a good order book, an expanding company and a strong economy, hard to see where this share can go wrong! Even get a half-decent dividend... Good luck, ES. | edmundshaw
20/2/2005 16:45 | jay178 Yup, I had a similar experience. Took me several days to get either selftrade or comdirect to accept an order. Eventually got a small order with selftrade. | paulieuk
19/2/2005 17:27 | paulieuk I think the company is completely undervalued. Im sure the market will correct it sooner or later. Incidentally I tried to buy an extra 1000 online yesterday but the broker wouldnt let me, when I tried to sell they were quite happy to accept that.I think you may be right. | jay178
18/2/2005 16:23 | I bought last month (1.72) and have just watched the shares shoot up and down. I'm pretty new to this but I think the problem is simple lack of liquidity. I think this is a cracking company but with only 9.8m shares in issue there's possibly not enough to create a market with. I'm prepared to be corrected though - always happy to learn... | paulieuk
17/2/2005 08:24 | anybody there? | jay178
16/2/2005 15:00 | just bought some today. cant understand why the spread went from 10p to 0? anybody got any ideas. come to think of it anybody got any shares in this? | jay178
21/1/2005 14:59 | 187p to sell. Just a re-rating on new investor interest??? Any local press would be interesting, aderemi :-) | edmundshaw
11/1/2005 15:17 | I see the MMs (plural!) have dropped the offer price after the rise. Trying to shake out some sellers ahead of a further rise would be my guess... still very cheap, I'm still looking for at least 220p, but happy to wait for the business taper relief anyway! | edmundshaw
29/12/2004 15:48 | Thalks aderemi, good news... Have a happy new year! | edmundshaw
29/12/2004 01:03 | With 2brokers, it seems the spread has decreased significantly. More contract win. -------------------- 14 December 2004 Derby Evening Telegraph (c) 2004 Evening Telegraph North Midland Building (NMB), a subsidiary of Huthwaite-based civil engineering and building specialist North Midland Construction plc, has been awarded a £26.5m contract design and build new student accommodation in Lincoln. The new eight-block complex will accommodate 944 students and a management suite. The blocks will be up to nine storeys high Work is about to start on site and there will be a phased completion for the student intake in 2005 and 2006. Brian Evans, managing director at NMB, said: "This contract is a significant win and we are looking forward to the challenges provided by this size of contract." | aderemi
22/12/2004 12:34 | Some numbers on the ticker and a smaller spread. NMD now have two brokers! At last!! Winterflood and Brewin Dolphin. Bodes well. Perhaps we're going AIM-listed too? I think it's a requirement, two brokers... but not 100% sure. | edmundshaw |
