11/1/2017 19:22 | A couple of very interesting trades. A 10k buy at 194.84 yesterday and a delayed 25k at 193.0 which is reported as a sell but I think it's more likely it's a buy. I make no sense of it at all and begin to wonder if there is one party acquiring all this stock. | cc2014
03/1/2017 11:47 | Closing in on £2.... | battlebus2
03/1/2017 09:59 | Great thanks for the chart cc 👍 | battlebus2
03/1/2017 09:50 | hmm. Another buy for which someone had to pay the full ask on a 10 pt spread. Good start to the year | cc2014
28/12/2016 15:12 | Another decent sized buy gone through pushing the price higher again. It seems to me that as FTSE rises, it is enabling someone to release cash to buy into NMD. Finally managed to paste a 10 year chart. | cc2014
15/12/2016 13:21 | Yep and will be for quite a while I suspect. | battlebus2
15/12/2016 13:19 | A couple of weeks on and the price rise has paused not surprisingly. MM's are happy to quote me well inside the inside the spread to sell 10k shares telling me there's still demand out there for stock. | cc2014
29/11/2016 12:54 | And still the buying continues. Lovely jubbly | cc2014
25/11/2016 13:08 | The "construction" sector (as opposed to house-building) has woken up. SFR (steel construction) is flying too. | cc2014
25/11/2016 12:23 | I haven't seen momentum like this for many many years. Very positive in my view. | eclair
25/11/2016 10:33 | Joined in with a few. Emphasis on construction in the Autumn Statement will hopefully result in an increase in work. | the vampire
24/11/2016 17:42 | Good to see him adding to his holding.. Posted this before but for anyone new here's his background. Mr. Thomas William George Charlton, also known as Tom, MA served as Managing Director of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers from 1998 to August 2002. Mr. Charlton has in-depth investment knowledge together with broad experience and interest in the smaller companies sector. He served as an Executive Chairman of Pinnacle Staffing Group PLC from September 1, 2008 to April 7, 2011. He served as Chairman of Feedback PLC until June 1, 2016. He has been a Non-Executive Deputy ... | battlebus2
24/11/2016 15:49 | Rns explains buying. I trust he's close to the business and sees current share price as a bargain | cc2014
24/11/2016 13:39 | I'm a bit later to this one than most here, but with legacy deadweight being dealt with and order book very healthy, plus the resumption of dividend, I'd argue the share price is only just underway, 10 year chart gives a good perspective IMV Regards | owenski
24/11/2016 13:33 | Yes job vacancies in all areas can only bode well unless half the staff have walked out :)) but I doubt that if everything I've read is anything to go by they are very engaged with all employees. | battlebus2
24/11/2016 13:19 | This is turning into a truly excellent trade and it's moving up again. It looks to me like all these 10k trades that are going through are sells but we continue to find buyers to soak them up. Given how tightly held this stock is the 10k sells can't go on much longer as they have to come from somewhere. I can't fathom the buying though and what's driving it - there's always a reason but I'd love to know what it is. I took a look at their twitter feed and they appear to be very focused on recruitment, so one assumes they've got lots of work | cc2014
24/11/2016 08:12 | Moving on up :)) | battlebus2
08/11/2016 20:37 | Another nice buy at full price, with bid ticking up. | cc2014
03/11/2016 22:54 | I believe the trust is buying them from Mrs Moyle. I did some research on this some time ago which I can't find to hand but I think this Mrs Moyle is the widow of the founder. I assume she doesn't need the money and is releasing them as and when the trust has dividend income to buy them and conveniently within her capital tax allowance so she has no tax to pay on the transaction. She's still got around 225,000 shares left so at the speed the trust is buying them it's going to take a long time before she runs out. If I'm correct the family will need to consider some additional tax planning to avoid inheritance tax. (with £360k worth of shares I'm not sure why the family don't set up yet another trust) More interesting perhaps is the impact of this affect if the company really does start performing appropriately and ramps the dividend back up. I am hoping for a minimum of a final dividend of 1.5p but believe it is likely to be more. If ever the family do absorb Mrs Moyle's shares the remaining free float is not large | cc2014
03/11/2016 21:11 | I think he's purchasing from the legacy shares that he has first option to buy as it was a trade off market. On disposal of the shares from the William Morris Settlement, the Moyle family have the option to purchase any such shares before they are made available to the public. | battlebus2
03/11/2016 19:43 | As the director buy appears to be through a beneficial trust I assume it looks like it is using what is left of the dividend after tax and other costs to purchase shares in NMD. All good news as it shows faith in the future of the company. | cc2014
01/11/2016 19:40 | Couldn't figure how to paste the 10 year chart but I've posted a link cc. | battlebus2
01/11/2016 19:36 | I see the Director bought some stock..... | battlebus2
25/10/2016 13:36 | Any chance you can change the header to a 10 year chart Battlebus? | cc2014
17/10/2016 13:16 | And nobody selling either. | eclair |
