Several bidders in process.....bidding war could start. The RNS confirmed resolutions were passed....it was massive as no votes would have meant liquidation...the company has survived and still under 1p!!!

The explicit reference to a reserve price was made in the solicited mailshot that was sent to targeted potential buyers

"As the secured lender, Richmond Partners Master Limited is seeking offers for the HAMCM Group in excess of the amount Richmond is owed, which as of March 15, 2013 is approximately USD$55.3m including default penalties."

There was a reserved price set on the sale, at circa the $55m mark .

Sales Pack is here - hxxp://suedafrika.ahk.de/fileadmin/ahk_suedafrika/Dokumente/HAMCM_Group_Sales_Do

I think Luca always wanted the assets, and the cynic in me tells me that's exactly what was planned and executed in the dramatic "scuttling" of the good ship Noventa. I could of course be completely wrong, and he was an innocent victim just like us. Who knows .... well only Mr Bechis really and possibly Mr Torres.

The sales agent is honest and doing his job. Maybe the winning bid will be $55m + $1 afterall, but there's genuine hope. Bidding contest, well that all depends if Luca still has the stomach for this..

We only need one external bidder and the pressure is in Richmonds. They could of course exit and cut their losses. The penalty on the debt would probably recover their loss in selling in November. But I think Luca is clever and see's the value here ... he always has.

Could be an interesting week ahead.

I think offer of 15 - 25p is realistic. I think most holders would be happy with that esp if those with high averages get to average down on the rise up. I hold 700k but will be topping up first thing. Hopefully it's not gapped up and can a decent amount under 1p

holding at an average of 2.8p so £1.65 would be great but i'll be happy with 5p for a start

Mick - keep reading over RNS and just shocked ppl did not start buying until the last half hour. I agree this will go to 2p tmrw and near to 5p if the MMs let it over the next few weeks in anticipation of the bid offer. I remember in 2011 this went from 15p to £1.65 in 5 weeks. This can really move

looking back at price movement after a positive RN, this could be 2p+ tomorrow
