especially well done to those brave enough to have bought on the spike down

ss - no, B Socs offering near 7%, fixed for 1 or 2 years if you want, they need your money!

SP in mid October 2006 was 95p or more (18/19th). The current bid price may look good to recent buyers but long term holders may not be so pleased. Divi is ex on 4th January. It may be worth waiting to see if the price is worked up.

Anybody care to guess a time scale
Sell at 92.25 or wait for 95

By the time commission is paid waiting gives 3% extra

Shorters deserve this and a lot more! Hope some get wiped out - good riddance to them and I hope it also makes a dent in some of the hedge funds that have been relentlessly shorting 250/350 stocks such as NIS as well! They wont have a chance of closing as open price will be 95p! Can smell the burning beginning already - the fires are being lighted. I think over the next 3 months there will be a lot more of such events to be honest - look at ISYS, LOG, AHT to name a few.

shorters gonna get completely shafted this morning!....happening quite a bit in the market wonder if other companies will see a short squeeze on the back of this.

nsb and nis sold over last week at 50-60% premiums...short sellers seem completely delusional...even after statement re possible offer they were still
shorting it..even brokers became pessimistic AFTER the statement.

Perhaps this signifies the start of some sort o turn in the market generally.

any positive but speculative news on the bid will see imho an easy 20% jump - if NIS releases a formal RNS with an attached board agreement, buckle up as the rise will give u a nose bleed, as for anyone short it will be like coughing up a kidney...

I am finding it hard to resist trading this daily 5% range with anything less than peanuts, only because I know if I commit more NIS will release an f-ing RNS declaring a done deal and I will be on the wrong side of the fence kicking myself - so i'm staying 95% invested until I know either way
