19/9/2006 21:45 | xd 27 september for final 5p dividend | linhur
19/9/2006 14:16 | Is the ex divi date gone please | dally4
18/8/2006 10:39 | Looks as though the bottom has been reached.Still maintaining rebased dividend which is just covered in a poor year. | linhur
13/7/2006 09:23 | lol no, this share can go to sleep for months. Nice to see Advfn displaying the news for the american NRG in the header. At least the chart is right. | momentos
10/7/2006 21:08 | has it been suspended? | cornelious billy bee
12/5/2006 09:42 | CBB - you were right on the course of the share price (of course, otherwise you'd probably be remaining quiet!) and the "I told you so's" come out of the woodwork every time there is a big jump or fall in any share. Your point I was responding to above was your unnecessary and inaccurate comment about naked trader - someone who puts his trades in the public arena. It doesn't take a genius to go onto his website and find out that he subsequently sold NRG on 11 April at 138.25 for a small profit (about £850 it looks like). Hardly a reason for you to be smug about your earlier comments. | chap1889
12/5/2006 09:08 | chap ..... | cornelious billy bee
12/5/2006 07:58 | Typical. I get in, and only six weeks later they put out a profit warning. Looks like the divi will be maintained, though! | karldinnel
31/3/2006 18:49 | I got in the other day at 129p per share. At that price they were trading at 7.8 times and 6.6 times this year's and next's forecast earnings per share. And the dividend yield for this year is estimated at more than 6%. Seemed a real no-brainer to me. Certainly couldn't see it falling to 120p. | karldinnel
31/3/2006 14:13 | There she goes... I'm slightly surprised by the bounce back up towards 140p so soon after the recent drop as I expected the price to fall below 120p. I was hoping to use this as an opportunity to top up but can't complain. The 130-140p is a fair price range at present but expect it to be much higher within 12 months once the new staffing structure has bedded in... the 'blip' Lorna Moran mentioned. | jgscott
28/3/2006 17:38 | CBB - not sure your comments are entirely accurate. From recollection he did nicely out of the HVN recovery play. He also repeatedly stated that NRG was higher risk than his usual. I have / have had no interest in either, but you do seem to be erroneously rewriting history somewhat. | chap1889
28/3/2006 12:48 | frequent trader and his herd makes me laugh, they got HVN so wrong and maybe NRG too. I'm waiting to see what happens when it test 120p again (i have no doubt it will), do not see the institutions piling in at this level, fairly priced at best | cornelious billy bee

28/3/2006 12:45 | They are still sitting on a pile of 5m cash - about 30p per share. It was up to nearly 8m before the special divi. Taking that out the PER and yield look very nice! | momentos
28/3/2006 12:25 | Er... not sure I follow you logic Opener. Frequent Trader topped up at 140p in early March didn't he? And where did the share price go then? Perhaps if he sells, it will move back up. Anyway, I'm in today for 128p. Even if the business does not do well in the second half and the management only maintain the total divi at 7.5p, that's still a yield of 5.9%!!! | karldinnel
28/3/2006 11:13 | I wonder if the Naked Trader is still holding ?If he announces a sale then the price will suffer short term.NRG does look cheap (could get cheaper) though. | opener
28/3/2006 09:39 | same happened last year... price drifted down till end of the tax year then rose in late April. These are good times to top up even tho I have enough for now :-) | jgscott
28/3/2006 09:05 | well its even cheaper today JGScott | cornelious billy bee
27/3/2006 21:52 | "where is thi going? looks like downwards to sub 100p" I doubt it billy bee... we are appraching the end of the tax year and a number of investors and institutions will be re-shuffling their portfolios. No alarm for me however. Too cheap as it is. | jgscott

01/3/2006 15:19 | I couldn't agree more. I don't generally follow the frequent trader and his flock of sheep but the market's reaction to the recent results was a little excessive to say the least. I topped up at 130p then doubled my holding at 119p, locking in a 7.5% yield! It will be business as usual over the next next 12 months. NRG are a highly respected service provider in their operating regions and benefits from a large, loyal client base. Once the internal restructuring had bedded in, we should start to see more earnings enhancing contract wins. | jgscott
01/3/2006 14:44 | I note thet Frequent trader has bought again today at 140. Showing some good support today after quite a rise over the last few days. Hays had great numbers yesterday and i just have to trust that Lorna will get this going again. In Lorna we trust! edit - should have said, it went ex divi today as well. | fozzie |
