That's about the size of it. They stock some good wine in my one , but don't sell any. In fact they have an anti-theft cap on the £5 bottles. I would be the only person not in the 3 for a tenner section if I were to go there. If I have to go to an Asda , I travel a fair distance to go to the one at Burgh Heath.

bdog,So what you are saying is that Asda sells good wine if the store is in an area serving well educated people in a affluent area.
On the other hand it will sell poor wine if it is in an area serving ill educated people in an effluent area.

Your Asda doesn't sell good wine....but mine does....

I've tasted enough in my lfe to stop experimenting. From now on I'm sticking to what I like best. Aussie shiraz , NZ pinot noir + sauvignon blanc and S African chenin blanc , plus the occasional Italian red like barolo.
