13/6/2011 11:35 | Have you factored in the Muzzer effect spcecks? Times the true valuation by 0.5 then add in the delay quotient of the Dutch & Iti's, I would say it is still overvalued ;-) | soulsauce
13/6/2011 11:32 | Still got plenty reserves. | spcecks

13/6/2011 10:55 | "wonky bat ear 4mation" Well spotted val! | maxk
13/6/2011 10:54 | spcecks Bid price is not good for NOP , one would expect to sell well within the spread if there was any demand. Where did you get 70p from? That would be an awful price. The way I read it , there are plenty of hoops to jump through for the licenses outside the 12 mile zone that we previously thought would present no problems. | bionicdog
13/6/2011 09:08 | parthus it says 'postpone everything until March'. That suggests to me there will be no offshore drilling around Sicily this year, and indeed they are not impressed that the Maltese authorities have given the go-ahead even further out. As I said yesterday knowing now how the Italian authorities seem to work and their sudden aversion to deep water drilling, I would suggest March will turn to Summer and then Autumn and still have no decision. | soulsauce
13/6/2011 09:03 | soul: Not sure, perhaps they refer to within the 12 mile zone. otherwise why would they need to consult the Italian authorities at all ? | parthus

13/6/2011 08:47 | I don't think this was known:- "Other oil companies have asked to explore the seabed. Shell, for instance, which has six permits, has received a suspension order in respect of three, and has been asked to postpone everything until next March in respect of the other three" | soulsauce
13/6/2011 07:50 | parahus Agree nothing we dont already know . | spcecks
13/6/2011 07:30 | Is this any different than what we were told before ? 2 NOP licences are on hold.. but the rest are outside the 12 mile zone, and so not under italian jurisdiction ? So what new ? What have I missed ? | parthus
