Yep remember that well Skids, gave it up all too easily but as I remember to concentrate on the Uk assets, then the newly acquired Spanish assets with the phantom rig and then a few certain assets in Peru.

However that was Plan B & C and now they are on Plan X,Y & Z. I think the ATI debacle was about Plan M or was it N - oh well.

At least Muzzer is a good deal maker :-))))))

Out of the shed to have a peep at results. Much the same more fast tracking from last years fast tracking to the fast tracking of the previous year. I'm fast tracking back to the shed for some brew.

I note that "The forecasted range for 2011 Group production is 1,550 to 1,650 boepd".

A full 10 years ago our share of the Tedin Oil field which has been producing since that time was circa 1500bod. It meant that our rights would have had to be contested in the courts but the management who are still in place did not want to allocate the time and expense to proceed. One wonders whether the experience in Holland has been any less time consuming on management's time and the expense to get there has been considerable.

Still its in a secure area so long as the oil and gas don't migrate or disappear down an unforseen accounting black hole.

So Italy is becoming the new Holland just as Holland became the new UK and the UK became the new Spain and the new Spain became the new Russia. Was it in that order? Who cares you get the gist! I could have used colours but then the company would need a name change to Rainbow Petroleum. With Zippy in charge!

On the face of it they don't look a bad set of results, apart from the obvious recent write downs, and good to see they still have plenty of cash.

However nothing will change with NOP until they start delivering on the drilling and the production front in a more timely manner.
It's alright being asset rich but they must prove they can get moving on those assets.
I doubt that will change until they get a more savvy BoD in.

Production levels are still not what they hoped they would be in 2008.

A lot of what is hoped to do in there was supposed to have been started years ago and I dare say come September those proposed dates for drilling and testing will be further back.

Nice caveat here:-
