40p, representing an interim dividend for the current financial year.

Add on the full year divi

Add on the huge profits from the Vic to come.

That is the reason for todays buying.

I spent 6 years researching this company from 2p to £1.40p.

I have spent 1.5 years researching PTO so far 50p to £2.50p.

PTO is my share of the year for very good reason, even the FD has been back buying more stock last week at £2.55p after paying just one pound under a year ago.!!

PTO have done a J/V in China with the state publisher who has 60% market share.
Yes 60% .!!

1.3BN Chinese pop.!!

Last year PTO was valued at £3.7M, today I think a fair value is not far off £100M, but just like NTA it takes the city an age to see what is going on.

Well done for the holders - I used some of my Northacre money to buy Altona Energy shares which are only 1/3rd of what I paid :-(

taken a punt and bought back 20,000 of these at 82p. £16m flat under offer on Hamptons site and i think that is last one. Damac still on board and you can bet that Abu Dhabi have cut costs as they make their 96p bid sweat waiting for the build out and profit share from vic gate

If the small hidden print in the AR regarding the dividends to be given to the lenders of the funds given to NTA at 30% interest are anything to go by then I am sure there are some mega bonuses due too.

Notice how all the top Directors are still there, they are waiting for their bonuses from the Lancasters, I mentioned it before when people were talking about the amount coming back to shareholders. I believe that Directors agreed to sell at such a low level as they knew they were going to be rewarded with bonuses.

Still live and learn and always caveat emptor, hopefully most still made some good money from this.

The point is that it was bad management from the begining. Mr Hunter if you remenber sold all his shares for about 20 odd pence. It is obvious that once the new management took control all the assets will end up in their pockets. Such a shame could have been a great company.

We were robbed @ 96p x 26.72 million shares is £25.65 million - and they will get £49.8 million from The Lancasters.

Receipt of GBP10m Dividend and Update on The Lancasters
Northacre announces that it has today received an interim dividend of GBP10,000,000 from Lancaster Gate (Hyde Park) Ltd, our joint venture with Minerva. This is the fifth interim dividend from this development project and brings the total received to date to GBP37.7m.
All but one of the apartments in the Lancasters development have now been sold and it is our current estimate that our total profit share (net of corporation tax) is likely to be in the region of GBP49.8m. As noted above, we have received GBP37.7m to date in dividends from this project, and therefore we estimate that a further GBP12.1m will be forthcoming.

Good news for those who declined the offer?

I missed an offer once in a share that delisted. Now some years down the line I got around to following up on what I could do about it and there is an outfit that trades such things, mentioned on the company website, and the good news is, it looks like they are worth loads more than they were. However the buy and sell prices are about 100% apart!
Meanwhile, the company have been routinely sending me at Barclays a very good divi (based on my purchase price of the shares)
However they are a very respectable British industrial company and a different kettle of fish to these guys fighting over the loot
I often find in life that what occurs as a failure to act at the time, turns out better than expected some way down the line....
