Blast!

Not confident enough to take a position!

Candles say Harami and therefore indicate a position on the short side of the market but volume favours the long side.

Had a wicked June so don't wanna spoil it. Am happy sitting on sidelines at moment.

Whahey!

people have started posting (and respectable ones at that!)

I hear what you're saying Johndee. No positions at mo (except long term one).
Got an open mind - will trade from the charts as and when they through up the signals.

Cheers

Time to go long immediately before the 4th of July holiday- the last trading 30 minutes on Wednesday if Nasdaq is near but above 1400. If it has fallen below 1400 there may be a steep down trend still to come. Tuesday and the first part of Wednesday are critical.

Closed today - don't like black candles with no lower shadow.

No way going long though.

Okay, not recommended but, Long at close of play!

Reason?

Bullish engulfing pattern 2 days ago on good volume. Down day today on lesser volume. Obviously a bearish engulfing pattern today but thats the risk I take.

We will see!

Laters.......

No trading tonight.

Intresting to see an engulfing candle pattern.

A 'down' day tommorrow on low volume and I'll be tempted to go long - we'll see though.

Closed recent trades from the gravestone doji.

Well chuffed, got 135 pts total in 3 days! (I work full time)

Bit to 'star' like and inverted hammer like for my liking.

My head says I should've let the trades run on - no big pick up in volume yet pressurizing the index lower but my heart said take the money. (No-one got poor taking a profit)

Will see what next week brings.

See ya....

Edit: Volume was up. Small retracement early next week?

Closed below massive support at 1500 (at last!)

Vol could've been a little more convincing.

Added to position

Nice one energyi, will check it at the weekend.

A short on MSFT with a $58 stop loss and $50 initial target looks tempting.

Short, from close on DOJI.

MSFT almost matching high.

Not 100% confident on this one with options expiry looming but we'll see.

Retracement next week?

- bottom of trading channel
- small double bottom formed
- massive support c1500 (can't close below it)
- reversal day Friday (almost to a hammer)
- Last 3 white bodies all on good volume
- MACD histogram appears to have peaked
- options expiry Friday

(microsoft on verge of breaking out of a double bottom)

Almost gapped down but then a nice white candle all day.

Can't make up my mind - any ideas?

I would think some sort of retracement is due.

Short, from end of this evening on hanging man that has formed.

Surely 1500 within a stones throw now!?

Watching CSCO like a hawk for an island reversal (we can all dream!)

Should get this started then shouldn't I?!

Closed my short tonight (Nas100 1221.3) - got 32 points from Mon evening (I think).

Looks like a weak inverted hammer but have not got the balls to go long!

Will see what tommorrow brings.

Andy

YZ: My feeling is that the NAS will recover from these levels. PCTW may be a bargain. Hope that, after 14.30pm tomorrow, the NAS may improve. Current levels seem a bargain, in my opinion, Boc.
