12/10/2016 16:00 | Well my most similar to this in a different geographic area would be HFEL. Only UK focussed smaller company trust I hold is AGIT. I did buy a new holding today - VOF...vietnam doing well at the moment and 25 % discount. Not a massive % holding mind. There are some quality asian trusts that invest in small caps - SST, FAS as examples. | nimbo1
12/10/2016 15:48 | Anyone have any other trusts similar to this, but a different geographic area? Other investment ideas? I was thinking a small UK fund to back a successful brexit? | zcaprd7
11/10/2016 17:03 | Agreed. It started as a hedge for me, pre referendum, but like what I see, and will remain a core holding for my sipp... | zcaprd7

07/10/2016 15:06 | Always seems to lag by a £1 to NAV, which I suppose as it keep rising, is a reducing percentage discount to NAV? I thought the best performing trusts had small premiums to NAV? | zcaprd7
07/10/2016 15:04 | Brewing dolphin have 10%, funds buying trusts, wouldn't want to be a client there lol... | zcaprd7
07/10/2016 13:56 | New all time high on NAV today of £12.1295(inclu With the continuing fall of £ v $ this has only one way to go at the moment imo Sp should be trading nearer £12 than £11 Top performing trust in it's sector but, DYOR | 29palms
03/10/2016 17:58 | Yes. All looks good. Still down today, despite the dollar strength... Hard brexit fears apparently. | zcaprd7
03/10/2016 13:57 | Half year report released this morning makes very good reading - Over the six month period to 31 July 2016 the Company's net asset value per share rose by 28.0% on a total return basis, in sterling terms, outperforming both its reference indices, the S&P 500 and the Russell 1000 Value, which provided total returns of 21.0% and 23.2% respectively in sterling terms. The Company's performance over one year has been particularly strong, outperforming both the S&P 500 and Russell 1000 Value by 13.3% and 13.5% respectively, and it is the best performing investment trust in its sector. Also, 2nd interim dividend announced -7p per share payable on 31st October | 29palms
03/10/2016 09:37 | Exchange rate at its worst again... | zcaprd7

22/9/2016 23:28 | Well worth a read. Performance Data and Analytics to 31 August 2016 | 29palms
22/9/2016 18:56 | Something must happen here imo Tonight share price close is £1.20 per share discount to NAV including income. 2nd Interim div announcement due, probably at 7p per share Watching for a spike back up tomorrow with the US market soaring by triple digit tonight | 29palms
22/9/2016 16:48 | Yes. Seems bonkers we are down today. Interest rate rises expected in the US, so presumably dollar to strengthen against the pound? | zcaprd7
22/9/2016 14:12 | All time high on NAV including income was £11.96 on 11th August, so not far off. SP closed that day @ £10.935 Way to go imo | 29palms
22/9/2016 11:51 | Excellent. I think £11.85 is the highest nav we've had? | zcaprd7
12/9/2016 23:50 | Nav dropped back about now... | zcaprd7
08/9/2016 13:41 | Nav still 11.72. So this drop is a bit frustrating? | zcaprd7
05/9/2016 17:15 | Agreed. The NAV has dropped a few pence off the high, but the share price has dropped a lot more.. | zcaprd7
05/9/2016 14:03 | SP showing £1.23 discount to NAV(including income)today IMO real value here and as I have said before should be trading well above £11.00 per share DYOR | 29palms |
