12/1/2010 14:58 | Ed 123........last week the broker houses wanted to buy in Norman Hay shares but didn't really want to sell you any.I picked up another 15,000 of these shares last week but had to buy in around 4 contract notes on differing days.On one day, the most they would sell was 2,500 shares but were willing to buy in any number of them. I thought I was the only one holding these on here...... Regards , Moneybags | moneybags
12/1/2010 13:20 | Hi Moneybags. Yep, YULC is going well. I'm quietly holding HNN. The fortunes here are tied to the global recovery ... You might be right about the YULC effect, but the recent rise of HNN has been very sudden and started before today. (Not complaining, you understand.) I wonder has HNN been 'discovered' by a tipster? 2003 to 2007 chart looked good. Formed a double bottom in 2009? Back to 150p next year? Who knows? Happy to hold. | ed 123
12/1/2010 12:40 | Looks like the good Yule Catto & Co PLC trading update helped these shares along today. (8 months since the last posting......I take it not many traders are in this one then.....) Regards , Moneybags | moneybags
10/4/2009 22:00 | Never heard of them before the results came out last thursday but have been doing some homework and I think I will tip my toe in the water. They are clearly not going to win any prizes in corporate governance given that none of the directors appears to me to be independent. However given their shareholding there is a close alignment between their interests and mine. Their automotive business clearly a worry and I would need to see why they spend so much on admin expenses...indeed the info they gave on Thursday was somewhat short in detail Nevertheless not often one sees an AIM company with such a good dividend (although they were correct to cut it )and current ratio and modest debt and hence interest expense and has a well diversified business both by product and geography. | cerrito
31/3/2009 17:10 | I might have a little punt on these. I held them once before and did OK, so I owe them the chance, can't be too much down side can there? | koolio
28/3/2009 12:01 | Flagged up by poster WCB on TMF, for which thanks: FY results maybe next week. Broker Brewin Dolphin has forecasts (dated 06-10-08) of PBT £2.40m and eps of 11.20p for the full year. (Same numbers for FY 2009.) Given the 8.1p eps at H1 stage, that assumes a distinct slowdown in H2, which is - of course - likely. I suppose it all hangs on the outlook statement, so I'll wait and see before committing. | jonwig
19/9/2008 07:48 | Superb results....they seem to be doing very well and spread nicely with business around the world and directors sound confident with increased dividend too. | davidosh
02/4/2008 00:28 | Still a big bonus to come when the city centre site is sold off too | davidosh
01/4/2008 12:23 | I guess because they are expanding! Trade receivable represents 90 days of turnover so looks reasonable. | 0rb1t
01/4/2008 10:53 | Decent results today - muted response tho. Way of the market I guess. CR | cockneyrebel
28/3/2008 11:23 | Bid up this am - results Monday. From the interims: "Trading continues to be strong, running at a similar level to the first half of the year, as we prepare to expand our operations further into Malaysia and Australia in the latter part of this year." Loadsa cash, good divi hike in H1, fwd PE 9. Way off the 155p they hit in October. CR | cockneyrebel
25/2/2008 23:13 | I still wouldn't be particularly confident of the market in general now to be honest - a couple of good days can soon turn again and I think there are quite a few more financial shocks to come - in general i mean not necessarily for hnn though as we've seen before general panic causes the more nervous to sell even solid little companies - if anything buy when everybody's feeling very un-confident. | myopia
25/2/2008 20:08 | Nice one. I sold half when the market tanked, stuck 5K that was left into the wife's pension. Doubled up today - would have done it two weeks ago if I had felt more confident of the market in general then. CR | cockneyrebel
25/2/2008 19:56 | delighted that I added some more last week, cheers Mark | illiswilgig
25/2/2008 17:41 | Was expecting these to come to life soon - results are the end of March so people buying in advance of that I guess CR | cockneyrebel

30/1/2008 00:11 | I'm casting my eye over these, appear very good value, its amazing how these types of Companies have been beaten up. Hope to buy in soon. | john hampton
