And to think they went to all that trouble of swapping one share for 10. Made naff all difference - in fact we are quite a bit lower

Doh... Yes and we seem to be heading south again. I really can't understand how this hasn't done much better. Is it bad management?

To be fair to Ali47fish - i think he/she was referring to volume not turnover.

You find almost everything out from the Annual Report. Including turnover.

Oversold and have noticed average turnover is increasing in the morning which is a good sign.

Not too sure about the homepage of the Norcros website today. When I checked earlier a share price of 160p seems to lead to a market capitalisation of £955.5m. If only that were true! Their software seems to need a bit of a tweak.

With interest rates going nowhere soon which is good for consumers doing up their homes coupled with strong mortgage activity this should benefit Norcros.

Looked to me like a correction on the upside well overdue.

Norcross due a bounce sterling will weaken further and is now a 7 year low against the $.

Carney's view on low rates will encourage more people to borrow money which in turn should help Norcross.

Sorry, Andrew. I've been closer to it than you. Don't believe everything you read. Re-read my point: energy price is very important but nowhere near as important as supply and demand in a global industry. A 20% saving in energy in the UK can quickly be dwarfed by the prising effects of oversupply!

Frustrating share - still in this big triangle if you look at 3yr chart. Hopefully will break out when there is nowhere for the price to go

Andrew Byles. A little learning is a dangerous thing. Yes, tiles energy-intensive but (a) there is a long lag between falling spot prices and contract prices and (b) kilns are fired by gas not oil, though there is ultimately linkeage. Energy is critical for internal profitability, but more important for share price is the economy (new build and refurb). Otherwise energy benefits are simply passed on to the customer!
