I picked up 10,000 shares because I like nice round numbers and it makes working out the divi (when we get one) a doddle. This will be an acorn to an oak by the end of the year. The board will want to get an announcement out before they head off to Monaco for the summer hols. Difficult to work out what the risks are on this - perhaps PIs running out of patience (not meant personally) - the institutions will have much more insight with probable representation on the board and they will be in for the long term as should we. The reward could be +300% to +400% in 18 months but that has to be a guess. Far better to buy the seed, rather than the sapling, as we have done for the best return.

Be patient hazl, you will be rewarded when that first RNS makes an appearance.
Plenty going on elsewhere - just picked up some QP. and REDD is taking wing again. LXB tomorrow with some significant capital return to be announced.
ZYT results next week and VLK AGM will keep me busy.

Still seems usual volume trickling through; guess they would want a good price for any aquisition perhaps they are waiting for a dip?
Perhaps somebody could email them?
Don't know if they would respond.

One thing - I wish the board had chosen a distinctive company name, Non-standard Finance is so undistinguished. It makes internet searches throw up a load of irrelevant tat.

Bored with the markets today so I added up the daily volumes on the LSE 3-month share graph from 19 Feb to yesterday 21 April. Assuming all buys (recorded as SELLS) then 6.8M shares have been sold out of the 105.24M Shares in Issue.
So 6.5% have been sold. I have not included director or institutional ownership since I wasn't THAT bored. Just a finger in the wind so make what you will of the figures and my assumptions. Back to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Bid/Ask moved up 50p or 0.46% due to 105,000 buys today.
Calm down, no news just MM adjustments, probably back down again tomorrow.
But it shows the necessity of getting in early.

Slept on this, reviewed everything written, considered the risk/reward and decided NSF is opportunity writ large.
Have therefore doubled my holding to 10,000 shares with a further purchase today of 5000 shares at 108.8399p.
Now prepared to sit on my hands for 6 months in anticipation of £2 by EOY.
The stated divi policy of 50% of post tax profits is exceptional and significant which should result in a maiden divi by early 2016. This fact alone indicates an alignment of management with shareholders interests.
