Mallorca.
1) we now have 2 injection permits! for waterflood to commence. Blackcomb 5-14 may be the delay.
2) poo is on the up WTI $55!
3) an up-hole is underway!
4) we gain additional acerage via JV!
5) all Court claims sorted!
6) we knew wells would go offline and have an effect on bopd!
7) we have oil hedged!
8) Mary Jane is having a work over!!
9) I am sure we have 20+ drilling permits awaiting a drilling rig!
10) we have B Sky 6 a horizontal permit!!!
11) so all of the above are true current facts that can be placed in the archives...Once injection starts we should improve our bopd!!

Most of the details that concern you have been available for some weeks now - the RNS today seems to have spooked you - and maybe you are reading far more into it than it actually says - take a couple of days and analyse monthly income against expenditures - add in the projected WF at a value of 8?? Snowbirds and I think that you will conclude that things are not as black as you seem to imagine.

Banks don't pull in these circumstances ..

WF has been delayed by 6 weeks ... thats the only thing thats changed - nothing else

However, the elephant in the room is that POO has risen over 20% in that timeframe and OPEC have made their decision post Mid November too

There has been much more positive macro improvements to more than offset a 6 week delay.

We're talking as if the 2nd injection well have been moth balled and there is no plan B!

WF has commenced and we know the field has already responded to natural water drive ... its game on as far as im concerned!

I am totally at ease with HAWK today and for 2017

Mallorca... I read thd quote different to you. If referring to oil increase, not water flood.

Additional volumes for 2017 are expected to be hedged if oil prices improve and the Company's water flood pilot project volumes come on line.

Buy the rumour and sell the news........Your sentence could just as easily be amended, ending it with the word 'yet'. People buy in on expectations and jump out in fear, we knew after the end of day last week the well had been permitted and many had bought in the recent rise in anticipation. There was also an expectation that some sort of impressive WF output figures would be alongside this RNS. That was never going to happen. Hopefully we hear later this month on how WF is progressing but as always holders expectations are generally unrealistic when it comes to timeframes.

OK and hopefully you are right. My experience here over the past two years however tells me that Rick and Chuck never fail to disappoint.
Strange that they are not advising shareholders that production will now be ramped up.
We can't ignore the facts and the constant failures. WF was due to go live and to raise production and revenue in Q4 2016. This WAS a condition of the refinancing agreed with CBA. An RNS was issued on 1st Nov advising an extension with the bank until end Nov - but now silence.
Banks can pull the plug you know.

Irrational fear the order of the day then?

If there was a time to be worried, it was mid-late December as we didn't know what the problem was with the second injection well and whether they could sort it.

They have now released an RNS saying the permit is sorted and we are on our way.

WTI $55 and bullish in direction and production here will increase with no heavy drilling investment

The share price has moved today on very little selling volume so MM's having a field day IMO.

I intend to add on weakness on the offer price ...

I also agree about that sentence, the "if" doesn't relate to both parts

The critical issue is that there is nothing left for the ordinary shareholders.

The Company is overwhelmed with debt.

Any cash flows will be used to try and maintain production.

Until it all goes pop.

Are his days numbered at hawk??

Rick, joined at the wrong time.

He could well have saved Hawk from going under, having guided us through the bad times and out the other side into 2017.

Our big shareholders certainly have stood by his side, through these previous times, but is that about to change???

A few here expected 2p!!! Well it has not happened!!

They are obliged to update the market re this.

There must be huge concern amongst the Concert Party Note Holders and the two major shareholders as to Managements performance.
I will guess that the Owners are in discussions with the CBA, that commissioning of WF has ben put on ice ' possibly literally',and that hopefully, Rick will be dismissed. Possibly the CBA will insist on Management change, they must have lost confidence in the present Management. Problem then is who comes in and how much will such a change cost.
We have a rising WTI price and secure hedging. Production MUST be ramped up just to keep the Company going.

I find your posts and fear irrational, as before this RNS they had missed those deadlines and hadn't got the 2nd well signed off. So this RNS should be viewed as positive.

As for production, we know that was curtailed for works so no surprise.

Finally I think you are reading too much into what is a poorly written sentence, add a 'when' after the 'and' and it is totally clear, I do not think the 'if' is linked to both parts of the sentence.

Mallorca...My guess as I have previously mentioned in other posts we have a work over on one of the recieving wells Blackcomb 5-14....That may be the reason.
Can they increase pressure and still work on a well??? I don't know for certain!!

Any thought on why WF has not commenced and - from today's RNS, why it also may not be about to ?
Why have shareholders not been updated re the situation with the bank as per the 1st Nov RNS posted above ?
Are the two items connected ?
