30/11/2016 08:50 | Check this interview by Oil specialist Gaurav Sharma | sum493
30/11/2016 08:46 | I've taken the chance to add a few more. I can only see this going up from here. Could be perfect timing for our WF output increase too, given the speculation re OPEC agreement and oil price rise. | mallorca 9
30/11/2016 08:43 | Buy at 1.29p or just under hence might be the last chance whilst short termers departing. Nothing given away just an abrupt this is it and wait for reality to return. | maxwell
30/11/2016 08:28 | well said mallorca | balbains324
30/11/2016 08:25 | I totally agree Chesty, I thought it was a good and sensible update. Re the 'takeover waiver' the Company hopes that major noteholders will opt for shares in 2017 rather than cash repayment of their loans. If so, this will result in the 'concert party' participants holding in excess of 30% of the available shares. Rules are that this requires that they make a mandatory offer to independent shareholders for a takeover to take place. The concert party members do NOT want to have to make such an offer and so a waiver of this requirement is being sought. A hostile (forced) takeover can only happen if this group acquires 50% + of available shares. This will not be the case even if a debt for equity deal is agreed. The Company wishes to remain Public via the AIM. There is no desire to go private as this reduces capital raising options. Expect a good 2017 with the current banking arrangement being replaced and a significant reserves upgrade and uplifting in borrowing facilities. Increased output re WF and a higher oil price. | mallorca 9

30/11/2016 07:59 | Pleased with the update. Again, good commercial sense for 2017. | mallorca 9
30/11/2016 07:57 | Daz on LSE asks about the natural water table, is Rick mentioning it to hide or hint at something.... Good Q | awise355
30/11/2016 07:52 | Is Rick getting better with news release or is it me!!! | philmac56
30/11/2016 07:47 | Hmmm....a bit flat buy production is better. Hedging in place for next year, overall an ok RNS. | balbains324
30/11/2016 07:35 | Not the RNS I was hoping for! So the second well it seems is taking g longer to get a MIT signed off, two weeks max hopefully! No mention of bank on Co back! Nice to see some hedging above current poo. Again, Rick mentions natural water table is holding up production, should hopefully boost water flood once it comes on line!!!! | philmac56
30/11/2016 07:22 | I agree entirely blakieboy I just get a feeling, but i have been wrong 99% of the time with shares. | chesty1
30/11/2016 07:20 | I certainly hope not Chesty. I think this has got so much potential | blakieboy7
30/11/2016 07:16 | Is it just me that feels like this one is going to be taken over ? Mind you I have thought that for years now. | chesty1
30/11/2016 07:09 | Ricks not giving anything away there in initial WF response then | blakieboy7
30/11/2016 07:04 | One is coming through now. | chesty1
30/11/2016 06:19 | So am I right in thinking we are due an RNS today confirming initial WF response? | blakieboy7
29/11/2016 16:56 | he he he - I mad a fair amount getting in on the hype of Devon and then spotting the RNS where they failed to mention it and getting out at a decent price | rbcrbc
29/11/2016 16:50 | LOOOOL I been here too long, in and out but yes I remember Devon!! | balbains324
29/11/2016 16:40 | WATERFLOOD !!! Anybody been here long enough to remember Devon ? | rbcrbc
29/11/2016 12:12 | I had a tiny top up today, first top up this year. I think they could have dropped it further today with the lack of buyers coming through, let's hope we get news tomorrow & someone had the mop out knowing it was going to be solid news. Be lucky to all | chesty1
29/11/2016 09:35 | I really hope that Rick during 2017 pays more attention to keeping shareholders and the markets up to speed with All developments. The problems he inherited (RF etc) are now put well and truly to bed. If the water flood comes in as anticipated/suggeste We need Opec to add to the equation, and things could be well on the mend...we have a vast acreage to develop. $$$$$$$ could start pouring in. Fingers crossed | philmac56 |
