bishopawn - well spotted. Looks like a buy of £2,000, then a sell as I bought just before the sell - 443,236 shares.

Can anyone suggest the significance of two identical trades days apart:

1,798,329 at 0.11 pence on 15th August

AND

1,798,329 at 0.105 on 17th August.

Excuse me getting pedantic Sweepie,
A more accurate statement would be

If this carries on I feel it could mean news is acoming.

The word must is a bit out of place, don't you think?

Something seems to be afoot as another largish buy just gone through 1.7m buy at .11p, price is currently marked down so I was going to post that normal service is resumed but I feel the price will turn around.

Insider dealing as some thing good is leaking?
Manipulation to start a feeding frenzy to enable someone to exit?
Mug punter who thinks what goes down must go up, and I'm reducing my average.
Seems a while since Bishopawn was banging on, we must be due another post from him soon.

A little blue again, why the hell are people buying this, you would hope it was people in the know but volumes are too low

Somebody else even more confident a 3.14m buy at .12p, maybe things are starting to look better at the company or somebody feeling lucky

Apart from going bust which the last results didn't really hint at, how low can they go. One good thing is that for any brave/stupid people out there they could double their money in a day as NXS are at such a low valuation a OK deal could really fire them up. But looking at the BODs its a long shot probably would be like burning notes on a bonfire

The proceeds from the Disposal will be used to reduce the indebtedness of the
Company and for working capital generally.

Will need more to buy something imho

I am neutral (no holding whatsoever). So anyone got and opinion on whether I should buy or not?

And to back my claim that this is a busted company the share price reaches yet another all time low. The new BODs seem to be managing this company like the last lot, badly

Until we see volume of 5m and over per day just clutching at straws, even 5m is only £5-6k so small beer, keep on dreaming

I checked my iPhone today and the NXS report was .79 pence. I nearly fell off my chair. When I logged in I see nothing changed... damned Apple tech - I nearly ordered my new boat.

Bishop's flights of fancy know no bounds. £1500 worth of shares don't make a summer. Perhaps you could enlighten us to why bar a couple of posts, you have only posted on the NXS board since january. hardly highlights your impartiality.

Certainly concentrates the BOD minds in only running the two businesses in USA and UK, I feel that the next news will be that NXS has lost their main customer and the new capital will be plugging the gap until the directors find new business which has proved to be difficult in the past. This will drag on for another couple of years before finally being wound up and put out of its misery.
There comes a time when everybody knows a dog when they see it

"However, we feel that a sale of the business to its current management leaves us in a stronger position to drive the remaining trading operations forwards."

"Our core managed services businesses continue to perform well. We are focused
on developing these businesses and exploring further opportunities to generate
shareholder value."

As Barney Battles says above this morning, they will be (probably have already) exploring further opportunities to generate shareholder value.

That's what we all want to happen - the directors GENERATING shareholder value. The use of the word "generate" rather than "increase" may be quite deliberate, indicating completely new business(es)and/or contracts that will start to produce extra turnover and profits for Nexus over and above its current business which is, as they say, performing well.

So the recent buys of 1 million at 0.11 and this morning's buy of 500,000 look like good straws in the wind for anyone looking to buy cheap ahead of further announcements.

bishopawn - perhaps a reverse take over on the cards? So if all the sells are buys, who is selling? At least this looks like progress towards some kind of goal even if we don't know what it is yet.
