It is the forecast of the referendum result. Next imports virtually all of its products and so if Brexit were to happen the £ would drop and that would hit margins because Nxt would not be able to raise prices.

If you are a shareholder (or just a sensible person) vote remain!

DD:

Assuming 54 holds then the next gap to fill is from Dec 2013 when it gapped up from 55 to 59.

I would look to see support established at 55 then expect to see a slow close of the gap to 59.

I expect that to be quite a strong resistance point which if overcome would then see the gap from the most recent tumble looking at a target of 66.

So my strategy currently is to see if 59 becomes established as support and then put a stop at 57 to lock in profits from my purchase at 52.

That's the plan :)

Nicely up on the £1.37 I paid as a staff member in the Save As You Earn share scheme in 1995. 5,004 shares at 1.37. Paid my mortgage off when I was 40 and still got 2,000 shares left, all now transferred tranche by tranche into an ISA. Wish I'd sold at £80 and bought them back at 50, but that's life. They'll get there again.

Pardon my gloat, it's a rare pleasure for me.

Kendo - the man who hates all retail!

I disagree! We have closed the 52-54 gap (which will be re-tested) and the next gap is at 59.

Then I set a stop to lock in profit from 52
