19/1/2011 12:51 | Welcome GC. Interesting update good to see that they are not divesting from Coalspur in my view. | jonnyboy1
19/1/2011 12:41 | Joined you today in the ISA....interesting proposition! | gconvery
19/1/2011 11:30 | Another 25K for me today.. | woracle
14/1/2011 10:08 | still chasing the rise of the underlying share (nce) its nav is ca 99p now from nce thread: (constituent stocks of the nce fund): energiser01 - 14 Jan'11 - 09:02 - 110 of 110 Some of the key changes since the 8th Jan (excludes anything between -5 and +5%) EWD.V -7.59% VOG.L -5.97% KAR.AX 5.05% HAT.V 5.54% CPL.AX 7.14% TET.TO 7.26% VPP.L 7.76% PRQ.TO 8.81% ESG.AX 8.86% RIA.AX 10.67% CEN.V 12.90% HZN.AX 14.29% PCI.L 15.09% BKX.TO 18.76% NDO.AX 20.00% ADX.AX 33.33% Ratio is 4 risers for every 1 falling share price at present. dyor etc.. | andrbea
30/12/2010 11:54 | I scribbled down sometime in 2010 the following: ncea expires Feb 2013 if nce doubles (eg 70p to 140p), then ncea should go 10p to ca. 70p So with nav of nce around 92p currently, I suppose that path up has begun for ncea. nia dyor | andrbea
24/12/2010 11:19 | yup, been steadily tucking these away since the 2.5p days, all looks good at present... best wishes to all. dyor etc.... | energiser01
24/12/2010 10:55 | happy christmas guys. Still our select little club here. Which is nice. | jonnyboy1
24/12/2010 09:45 | from nce thread NAV is ca 92p So share price of nce (currently 73.5p) still at a significant discount to NAV which bodes well for the subshares (as nce plays catch-up with nav, that will be echoed in ncea) | andrbea
02/12/2010 16:49 | Added another 70K last few days. They can let it go now :) | woracle
01/12/2010 12:40 | on NCE thread energiser01 - 30 Nov'10 - 08:42 - 90 of 90 NAV upto around 82p at present. Coalspur continuing its strong run up 32% since the 19/11th. dyor etc. | andrbea
17/11/2010 08:36 | on NCE thread: energiser01 - 9 Nov'10 - 11:40 - 86 of 86 NAV still climbing on a daily basis (not quite as spectacular as GCL/GCLS) but very steady. My model has it at around 77p now. So share price still at a significant discount despite recent run up. dyor etc. | andrbea
05/11/2010 08:18 | nce's nav (creeping up) drives the ncea price from nce thread: energiser01 - 3 Nov'10 - 12:05 - 84 of 84 I estimate NAV now just under 75p. Coalspur the best improver +25% since 22nd october. dyor etc... | andrbea
04/11/2010 12:56 | jonnyboy, u tell 'em ;) | woracle
04/11/2010 11:07 | The exercise price is 70p (Feb 2013 expiry) parent share nce is on a spread 63.5 to 65p currently so s-shares getting nearer to being in the money) = 70p + share price of ncea With 3 years to run, the SS look a good bet from here IMO. | andrbea
04/11/2010 11:02 | JB: Thanks for coming back in to see us Jonny. JB: Its a pleasure. JB: So from what we have seen its just you and a gentleman called woracle that have any interest in this stock. JB: Yes that's right jonny. I think both woracle and i stepped away from the herd and sought out this rather unique proposition. JB: Remind me again please jonny what's on the table here. JB: Well you are essentially buying a 10 to 1 leverage to the underlying energy shares for 3 years for 10% down. These warrants are already in the money compared to NAV so a one to one move should be expected and we are starting to see that. As with all leverage positions that leverage will reduce as the multiple to SP/WP declines, JB: Couldn't you just do that with a spread bet on the XOI indices? JB: That's a good point jonny but i don't know any provider who would let you lay a 3yr bet at 10% to the underlying and with a guaranteed maximise loss and no margin requirement regardless of how the underlying moved against you over the next 3 years. JB: Thanks jonny that really helps. So are we going to track the XOI then? JB: Well no jonny we have the potential to significantly diverge either over or under that index. See this company is one of the best in the business just check out the performance of their other funds. It picks mostly small cap plays and gets in on placings that aren't open to PIs or large enough for the big pensions funds to buy into. JB: So exciting times ahead with a controlled risk profile. JB: Indeed. Watch out for today's RNS i expect another record NAV and that's before this weeks big moves in their uranium and explo stocks. Add in a dose of QE and its not hard to see this one double for christmas. JB: Well thanks for taking the time today. JB: Always a pleasure JB. | jonnyboy1
04/11/2010 10:59 | subshares ticker ncea up 14% today they expire in 2013 recent comment: JB: Well yes jonny. See if the share price here doubles in the next 3 years you would see the sub-shares up 10 times to around 70p. | andrbea
04/11/2010 10:52 | Interesting | nonigels
21/10/2010 15:24 | Keep talking to yourself jb1. The less that know the better for now... shhhhhh !!!! | woracle
21/10/2010 15:15 | JB: i see jonny that the share's NAV is hitting records and the underlyings are moving strongly again today. JB: Yes thats correct. Its been lonely owning this share for the past couple of years but being up 250% whilst earning dividends has been rewarding. JB: So whats your move now? JB: well if you want exposure to the broad energy sector then i cant suggest a better place to be. Interestingly i have bought a million warrants over the past year and expect soon to be seeing a 1:1 move in their price. JB: Wow. So you could rinse and repeat the previous spectacular performance? JB: Well yes jonny. See if the share price here doubles in the next 3 years you would see the warrants up X10 to around 70p. JB: Interesting so let me check my maths. ... You would make about 700k profit? JB: Yes jonny JB: Which is nice | jonnyboy1
19/10/2010 08:06 | Which is nice | jonnyboy1
06/10/2010 15:40 | i have a shed load. The NAV is 72p for the underlying, so a 6% rise in energy shares and these are in the money to the NAV with 3 years to go. Cheap | jonnyboy1
06/10/2010 15:37 | Someone confident on these, splashed out £160k for 2.9million of these. Still plenty of time value until 2013 at exercise price of 70p. Not in the money yet, but shares are having a good run since jun (like many others). dyor etc.. | energiser01
20/10/2009 20:54 | only just seen your post, i don't blame you taking the profit but i have a longer term horizon on these even though i have doubled my money in a week. Provides a cushion should there be any weakness. Hope the profits pay for a few lavish dinners on on the trip you mentioned over at cyn. will have a look these russians but i am in the process of paring back to core holdings at the moment so down to just a handful of stocks for now. Not sure aout russian demographics, i thought they were not too great? cheers Jon | jonnyboy1
16/10/2009 15:12 | jonnyboy1- sold my 50k this afternoon made 30% since I bought Monday. I was looking at a very cheap warrant RUSA-I know it's RUSSIA but they are very cheap they are in the money now shares 40p warrants 19p or therabouts exercise 25p and can be exercised till 25.3.2019. Tried to buy 20k online but it was hopeless went to a phone deal but in vain. The ordinary is on a 7% yield. I took out a covered warrant FTSE100 put 4800-March 2010@ 23p to cover my portfolio I do not want to sell any of my holdings. We could have a big fall by March2010. | washbrook
16/10/2009 13:51 | Thanks for the analysis washbrook and the blackrock new energy look intersting to. I would agree that the warrants are high enough for now, but i would be suprised to see a pull back unless there was weakness in the underlying | jonnyboy1 |
