Hi Davidosh good to see we both share another holding together, Can't make any events atm but it sounds a great idea if they are on the doorstep. I have emailed the company several times and always got a response so good on that score. The cash spend on buybacks doesn't bother me as the cashflow is excellent here and the EPS gets a lift at the same time.

Trades at 42p now :))

Excerpt from interview with CEO on yesterday's interim results -

"In the short, medium + long term we are very buoyant on the future. We are one of the main players in the mobile telecoms recruitment space. We are very excited about the imminent global roll out of 4G networks and we expect to see some very good business with 4G technology as we have seen with 3G and we saw with 2G as well. So, with over 50% of our business in mobile telecoms, we are excited at the prospects of that".

This seems to be the major area to drive growth over the next 12 months or so although it will by its nature be a temporary driver.

Networkers must be the closest company to our Mello location with a HQ base in Bromley so I must ask them to come and do a presentation some time soon now that the results are out. Would any of you be interested in one ?

I only bought a small initial holding last month to get me interested in them and to do some research and I doubled up yesterday so nice to build a holding in a local company. Has anyone met the management or any previous knowledge as quality of management and their mentality towards shareholders are crucial factors in these 'resources are people' businesses where the assets walk out of the door every night.

What are the thoughts re cash spend on the share buybacks being done even though factoring is used for working cap needs ?

Finally, results from recruitment firm Networkers International (LON:NWKI) might be worth a look. I've had a very quick skim, and nothing very exciting going on, their interims are essentially flat vs last year's H1. The fwd PER is only 8.7 based on broker consensus forecasts, and their Balance Sheet looks reasonable, and the outlook statement says they expect a strong finish to the year, so looks potentially interesting.

Yes, I collected some in early August – Good future prospects and a progressive dividend policy, so thought it a worthwhile investment.

Transaction in Own Shares and Total Voting Rights

Networkers International plc announces that on 19(th) September 2013 it purchased 250,000 of its own Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 40.6 pence each.

As a result of the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury is 7,246,155 and the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is 82,560,269, which is the number which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency

Results out with expected fall in NFI and increase to the dividend to 0.7 p.
4G seems to be still at early stages but seems to be showing signs of movement.
Margins up 1% to 18.5. All other areas performed well. IMV we are well placed to increase profits over the next 12/24 months whilst increasing the dividend.

Outlook

Whilst it has been a challenging period for the Group, particularly for the telecoms division where we were up against strong comparable figures from H1 last year, there does appear to be an improvement in general market sentiment in our sectors.

Whilst the Group's profits were slightly down on H1 last year, at this stage we remain on track to have a strong finish to the year and to meet management expectations.

& quick Google search reveals that spending is increasing in 4G infrastructure in Taiwan, China and most other Far Eastern markets.

A very healthy volume today and mostly buys with what looks like a matched trade.
Still on a p/e of 11.5 and a really healthy increasing dividend and the potential of that 4G bonus to come.
