12/4/2007 08:25 | Penny seems to be dropping that NDH are one of the biggest providers of HIPS in the country.Media and Government publicity from here to the launch on 1 June should see NDH make useful progress from here...imo | nurdin
11/4/2007 14:28 | Moving up on a couple of small buys - and should be breaking into new highs very soon. | tole
10/4/2007 11:15 | AGM on 27 April....expect some bulish noises from there imo | nurdin
09/4/2007 23:19 | Just 52 days to go now to the launch of HIPS | johnsoho
09/4/2007 12:18 | Looks like NDH have geared up well for the HIPS launch.HIPSTAR website worth a browse: | nurdin
08/4/2007 11:48 | Habyutt. This brokers note answers some of the queries you have...read the HIPS section in particular | nurdin
08/4/2007 11:30 | I attended NDHs' annual conference last month in Newport which is basically a jolly out for brokers and mortgage lenders alike. Listening to Alex Cotton (CEO) carefully she stated that the first 3 months of this year had seen mortgage sales up in the region of 30% on the previous. Richard Griffiths was speaking before results were released so had to be very guarded obviously, but was in a similarly bullish mood about the Hips market. | major apple
08/4/2007 11:20 | Hi Nurdin I also spoke to the company secretary last week, he too believed that Hips will be going ahead as planned in June. With a MC of a touch over 15m and with at least 78% of the company held tightly. Not including institutional and other investors possibly holding percentages under 3%, then the free float is quite small. Do you know of any others who are placed to take a share of the hips market and where they are in comparison to NDH in terms of 1st June. Would be good to know who is best placed etc for the new moves. | habayyut
08/4/2007 11:00 | Hi HABAYYUT Their house brokers have recently raisd their target price from 78p to 98p.There is no timescale given but I personally think we should get there within 6 to 9months time if not sooner.Looking further,it all depends on the state of the housing market over the next few years and how effective NDH are in addressing the HIPS market. With their heavy investment in HIPSTAR and having spoken to the company, I feel confident however that NDH are well placed to capture a bigger share of the market than assumed in the brokers forecasts. If the housing market remains reasonably bouyant over the next few years,I have no doubt we could easily see 150p here over an 18mnths view. That would still rate NDH at a modest 10x earnings on current forecasts. | nurdin
08/4/2007 10:28 | Nurdin Where do you expecy, obviously in your view and opinion NDH to be at the start of HIPS in June and By year end. Obviously just seeing how you view NDH as you seem to know alot about the current markets. | habayyut
08/4/2007 10:10 | I am amazed there is so little interest in NDH at a time when the Government is about to press the red button on HIPS NDH have invested heavily in HIPSTAR over the last 18months and I understand they have recently recruited about 50 call centre staff to deal with queries and take orders. On brokers forecasts NDH are currently trading at 9x this years earnings, falling to 3.5x for 08.Those estimates are based on the assumption that NDH have just 6% of the HIPS market which, given that they are one of the three biggest vendors of the product, looks very conservative indeed.Brokers have also allowed for some slowing down in the housing market over the next couple of years which therefore mitigates the risks somewhat. I expect NDH to start moving strongly next week..... | nurdin
07/4/2007 11:33 | with thanks to Waldron on HIPS thread | nurdin
05/4/2007 13:42 | Can anyone help in giving a breakdown of who owns what as a %age of the issued share capital. the CEO owns over 78% of the co....thats quite impressive. | habayyut
29/3/2007 23:31 | What about competition on HIPS from PSG Solutions ! | masurenguy
23/3/2007 15:26 | I'm also in BNH from the 90p days and enjoying the ride!!!! I think that NDH may emulate BNH, we shall just have to wait and see!!! | johnsoho
23/3/2007 13:37 | Also a buy in IC. Very cheap if it makes its forecasts. Am also in BNH since 90p, and keeping them tight. by the way Masengury I bought into Hightex today - lots of potential. Happy to hold both of these medium term. | puku
22/3/2007 20:19 | Nice write up in todays 'Shares' magazine titled 'Network Data packs a punch with Hipstar' CE Richard Griffiths is quoted as saying that HIPS will turn out to be a massive money-spinner for the company and that with over 1.8 million HIPS being be required each year at a retail price of circa £500 per pack the market should be worth around £900 million annually....I wonder what % share of that will come to NDH!!!! I think June, when HIPS become mandatory, is going to be a very interesting month for all NDH shareholders | johnsoho
16/3/2007 20:15 | Shame to have the director selling a few - but nice to be provided a valid reason as to why - and cant complain really since he holds 78.9%... Might provide a nice opportunity to pick a few up. Not much press about following results but spotted a little comment below. Network data Holdings - a nice little business, if only one could buy the shares Author: IC | Posted: @ 18:47 | tole
15/3/2007 13:43 | Full note here: PE droping from 9.5 this year to under 4 in 2008...assumin HIPS takes off. Having put some feelers out,I am convinced HIPS legislation will come into force on 1st June....and we should see steady buying ahead of that.Better to get your tickets now imo..:o) | nurdin
12/3/2007 08:39 | Excellent results imo..pretax came in ahead of forecasts and the core business showing exceptional growth.Profits last year were held back by £1.4m capex on the HIPSTAR business which should start generating profits in a big way as the HIPS regulation comes into force in June... More significantly they have already sold 52 Home Inspection Franchises and the nationwide roll out should start soon.. Brokers estimates are bound to be revised upwards from here..but even on current estimates NDH are trading on a PE of well under 10....cheap as chips Id say | nurdin
09/3/2007 10:16 | Results Monday guys.No great shakes in the figures but the outlook statement should be pretty positive.Much cheaper than BNH at current price imo... | nurdin
27/2/2007 08:10 | Network Data announces that it will release its annual results for the year ended 31 December 2006 on 12 March 2007, and not on 2 April 2007 as previously announced. | johnsoho
18/2/2007 14:10 | Just noticed the following: In a consultation paper issued on 25 January 2007 the Government announced proposed amendments to the regulations for Home Information Packs. The paper allows all interested parties up to the 21st February to respond formally to their proposals and clearly sets out the ongoing timetable for HIP implementation as follows: 27th March 2007 Energy performance of buildings directive regulations laid. 29th March 2007 HIP regulations laid 19th April 2007 HIP regulations come into force 1st June 2007 HIPs 'go live' Changes proposed are that there will be a transition period during which a property can be marketed on an incomplete HIP. Thats where the only outstanding documents required relate to searches and leasehold information and in those cases it must be clear that the required information has been requested and will be provided. The minimum required information for an incomplete HIP will be: - Index - Sale Statement - Evidence of Title - Energy Performance Certificate - Evidence that other documents have been commissioned i.e. searches & leasehold information Interesting times ahead I think if you want to sell a house!!! | johnsoho
18/2/2007 13:46 | Now just 102 days before HIPS become mandatory for selling a house and I think Network Data Holdings are well place to take a nice share of this market | johnsoho |
