I think it already owns Vernons, Nick. It was the Football Pools business owned by Sportech that Netplay was interested in. But, yes, it's quite likely the market felt Netplay would overpay, and overreach itself.

Trading In line, which means some earnings coming in to offset POC duty as stated in Interim statement. There should be some contribution from acquisition too. Will be a very interesting full year accounts read in April.

Anyone know what the forecast for the full year is? Cheers NR.

At least the market has allayed it's prior fears and the share price looks to be recovering. Not sure why it went so low to 7p again recently and very abruptly, unless the market knew it was going to try for vernons and feared over paying etc.

Nice to know the mysterious Otherside is bedding in then and benefitting the group in a number of key areas allowing it to diversify revenue and support its stragetgy (what is that nonsense supposed to mean), and that it has traded strongly post acquisition. Where's the numbers then.

It's the way they tell 'em.

Funny you say that Alan. I have just come back from B and Q ( as you do ), and have bought a high capicity face mask. Pathetic labelling and packaging as the company cannot spell even the basics for their product.

If that's a competitive rate that's fair enough. Never very impressed when people put incorrectly spelt content on a website though - e.g. "recieve" in the second paragraph.

According to acquisition RNS, Otherside Inc will add to profitability as an add on business as well as a tool to generate more leads/traffic for it's traditional businesses.

This staement was from full year results April 2015.
