21/12/2015 08:20 | Lets hope Netplay are going to do some good maths here as it could be the beginning of a company growing again. | nick rubens
21/12/2015 08:07 | Annoying trading suspended at a nadir of the share price - about as low as it could feasibly get given underpinning by cash. This will mean that the price for any deal (if reverse takeover as they suggest - and presumably hard to fund any other way) will be "7p and then some" rather than "12p and then some" or whatever it would have been today. Most annoying. | jim digriz
20/12/2015 10:19 | Consolidation or acquisition | nod
20/12/2015 09:40 | Could see some serious action Monday. I hold PTEC, NETPAY and SPO so interesting times ahead. Consolidation is needed for the two smaller ones imo | trentendboy
20/12/2015 09:25 | As NPT already own Vernons it would make a good acquisition of bought at the right price | norbert colon
20/12/2015 08:21 | Where was that info published, Nod? | alan@bj
20/12/2015 04:00 | Interesting. Teddy Sagi knows Sportech very well because PTEC held a 10% stake and the two companies shared directors and Chairman.Israeli billionaire backs £100m takeover tilt at football poolsDaniel Dunkley Published: 20 December 2015About 300,000 people regularly play the football poolsTHE controversial Israeli billionaire who bought London's Camden Market is backing an audacious plan to take over the football pools.Teddy Sagi, whose recent attempt to buy spread-betting company Plus500 was rebuffed by regulators, is a big investor in Netplay, a London-listed tech outfit that has made a behind-the-scenes offer to buy the pools from current owner Sportech. The two sides are understood to have begun talks already - just a few weeks after Sportech ended another set of takeover discussions with a Canadian rival, Contagious Gaming.Experts said the pools could be worth up to £100m. It is understood that Netplay's initial offer is some way below this figure.Sportech and Netplay declined to comment. | nod
16/12/2015 15:28 | Trouble is, instis were adding to QPP before it hit the fan ditto GBO, now INTQ under pressure yet instis have endorsed deals there, the list is long. Truth is, instis often don't do their homework, even Neil Woodford gets stung. Not saying there's fraud here just that it doesn't add up and directors don't talk, that's enough reason to shun. Yesterday I spoke with a bank director for over 20 mins discussing ins and outs of the business cos they've been under fire, they were approachable open and helpful, they are hundreds of times bigger than NPT but find time to speak with their shareholders. | paleje
16/12/2015 13:33 | I think we may all have got spooked for nothing. If the acquisition is a legit company as stated prior and with earnings as stated then this could have been an unnecessary sell off. No doubt the stock will move before any RNS if it's forthcoming. | nick rubens
16/12/2015 11:49 | Henderson Group recently lifted it's stake to over 13%. That's was post acquisition. It would help if Netplay RNS a comment on the recent sharp fall in it's share price and give further transparency on this acquisition. | nick rubens
15/12/2015 13:42 | Otherside Inc is registered in Belize Why do companies register in Belize - I personally do not know but a search on google finds Conduct business without using your name Avoid paying local taxes Protect your assets by registering them under the IBC name Maintain your privacy – shareholders and directors are not registered at the registry in Belize It just don't look right | jlo10
15/12/2015 11:29 | Yes please if you get any joy, gofers. | paleje
15/12/2015 10:16 | Paleje - Funnily enough I had e mailed the company earlier this morning raising the same issues. Not holding my breath for any reply but will post anything I do receive. | gofers
15/12/2015 09:44 | I'm afraid I can't explain it and I'm not inclined to waste my time trying to get to speak with management because I've tried before and they're very shy, need protecting by pr people. I follow, or try to, because I have an interest in the sector but I wouldn't re-enter here without greater clarity. I mean, whoever heard of an online marketing firm that doesn't market itself? It doesn't add up, marketing firms don't hide away it isn't what marketing is about. | paleje
15/12/2015 08:34 | Yes I know what you mean when googling etc but according to aquisitiion RNS: " Otherside generated revenues of £2.6m, Adjusted EBITDA* of £0.6m and profit before tax of £0.4m in its unaudited financial information for the financial year ended 31 May 2015." If the company doesn't exist then what is all this about? | nick rubens
14/12/2015 15:13 | If the recent acquisition could be traced and verified it would be a start, let alone its trading, to getting some confidence back. But try doing it, you'll most likely come up with a blank, I did, apart from an address and a DIY website, which is odd for a whizzkid bees-knees outfit. | paleje
14/12/2015 14:20 | Looks to be bouncing/holding now after this recent swift fall. Would need an update to get enthusiasm back. If the recent acquisition is doing what they claim they purchased it for then turnover should increase ahead at least. | nick rubens
10/12/2015 16:13 | Yes, their policy of not providing updates is weighing on the share price - assuming those updates would be positive of course. | alan@bj
10/12/2015 15:58 | Drifting down share price and with falling earnings and the consumption tax imposition, it's hard to be too enthusiastic for the stock at the moment. | nick rubens
08/12/2015 09:19 | Good trading update yesterday by 888:- "Building on our very encouraging first half performance, 888 has continued to trade well through the second half of the year, driven by notably strong performances in Casino and Sport. Underpinned by our quality brands, leading technology and CRM expertise, 888 remains very well positioned to deliver long term sustainable growth." | alan@bj
03/12/2015 13:26 | 250,000 shares sold to MM's @ 7p | nick rubens
01/12/2015 14:41 | NPT pretty much back to where it was 12 months ago. Let's hope support at 7p holds. | speedsgh
30/11/2015 22:10 | I see the mkt cap is £21.88m and cash was £15.8m at the end of the first half. Hmmmmm..... | simonthe1st
24/11/2015 21:52 | Yes there is little in the way of any info on Otherside Inc. Even the FB and LinkedIn profiles look scarce. Need some TW style forensic investigation before buying into this IMO. | mrmark01 |
