the sky is the limit i guess but its probably a pretty crowded marketplace so i guess we have to wait till the company gives us a clue as to whether they can generate material revenue and eventually profits here. On the plus side Vernons is a pretty good name but i am not sure how much presence they have at yet to pull the customers in - i would like to see them get on oddschecker for example as that must drive in quite a bit of business. I guess though slow and steady is better than having so many customers where you can't cope from a service point of view. I am not sure if anyone is monitoring the traffic to their website - its not something i know how to do but would probably be a useful stat to monitor over the next year or two. I aint used the website yet to deposit or place a bet but seems pretty nicely laid out etc|
|any views on vernons.com and future revenue potential ?|

|Lowest close since August 2nd. I guess the market was less impressed with the earnings report than I was. Looks like another 6 months until we will likely see price movement when we get the final results. Hopefully we have a blowout 2nd half of 2016 or better yet get taken out! Does anyone have any other idea's of what could impact us positively before then?|
|I think the problem here is quality of earnings going forward.
Firstly they have to spend a lot on marketing just to maintain what they have and they are always going to be dependent on the success of the shows where they advertise. I also think that there must be only so much money the gambling public can spend.
They have a three year agreement with ITV so what happens when that runs out? That is a medium arrangement term at the most. Maybe it can be renegotiated but on what terms?
I can therefore understand why an institution like Henderson is continuing to sell.
Despite my loss here I am going to stay in because I think there is little downside, however I think there will need to be some form of corporate activity to generate any upside.|
|Henderson has also sold a few GVC.Dyor.coxsmn|
|Henderson sold a few shares and gone below 11%. Explains the selling, but they are being mopped up as soon as.
If they have done selling, we should get a tick up.|
|Yes I think there was more buys then the trades list is implying, anything over 8.8 look like they could be buys.|
|Wow huge volume today. 3 times the average and price is positive on the day. This is a bullish sign. Hopefully a march towards and past 10p|
|I still like this stock especially at recent price.|
|Good volume again today.|
|Alot of turnover since results and IC comment, albeit some sellers appearing, but at this low level seems odd IMO. They can't all have bought much lower, as it's close to it's lows.
Maybe a firm break out above 9.3p might change attitudes?|
|A couple of separate positive articles in the Investors Chronicle this week, maybe thats what was encouraging all the buys yesterday(Friday), buying should continue on Monday when pi's have read the articles over the weekend..|
|Sell off before rise to 10p.Dyor.|
|More or less constant buys all today and the share price falls..The MM's want fricking...|
|ST weighed in with his opinion today for good measure, doesn't seem to convince many though. Perhaps Simon should look deeper than face value:-
Netplay priced to spin higher
.....Admitttedly, Netplay hasn't been generating the bumper growth of rival 32Red (TTR:134p), a company I initiated coverage on at 51.75p ('Game on', 7 Jul 2013), and last advised running profits at 135p ('Spinning higher', 2 Aug 2016). However, a four point earnings gap between the two is too wide. On 7 times earnings estimates after stripping out net cash, and offering a dividend yield of 6 per cent, Netplay's shares rate a buy.
|Solid set of results, 14p price target
|Good set of results, profits growing and at top end of my expectations. Healthy dividend maintained.Sp due for a re-rating north of 10p.Dyor.|
|Chimers "You wont make money in this game without facing the truth the facts or by deluding yourself"
You didn't address the special dividend payment or the 'extreme' figures you were using to exaggerate cash reduction claim?|
|And £3.5m for acquisitions.
The disappointments in here were a slow Q2 in gaming, and a working capital outflow. I am unsure if that WC reverses.
Positives that the B2B business is providing some good growth - i suspect this is where future acquisitions will be.
If you owned these before, you are probably still happy. the securing of the ITV contract improves the quality. Shore Capital are on 0.95p of EPS for this year, it is the cheapest stock in the sector by some margin. As it should be, but still undervalued.|
|Chimers.Castleton Tech. yesterday.Netplay today.What is you're problem.c2|
|Chimers "The "cash" on the balance sheet has halved from nearly 16m to 7.5m How much of it did you get?"
It has not halved and you don't mention the special dividend it paid. Your 16m figure includes player balances and your 7.5m figure exludes them.
Why are you trying to exaggerrate so much?|
