I'm a small shareholder in this company, so don't shoot me. Charles Butler, its chairman IMHO adds nothing and is an ongoing seller of stock. What sort of message does that send out, not only to shareholders but other executives? He has 2.1m shares and a further 4.4m options all in the money. Why Hendersons and Slaters don't get together and tell him to go is a misery. The business looks OK,although virtually no growth. Butler should go and his options cancelled.

Well, Full year accounts due 21st March 2017. No doubt interest will return closer to that time and I expect a maintained, if not slightly increased dividend and EPS most certainly on the up as there are less shares in the capital of the company and with some company earnings growth too.

Chimers .. what exactly are you angry about? We don't know who owned otherside or if there is a link to directors and yes we are a suspicious over the deal from a trust point of view, but I'm sticking with the accounts and the potential and putting that aside for now, given the very low share price with close to half mkt val in cash and earnings growing again. Obviously if you think we are all going to scammed then all you need to do is ignore NPT ( we understand your warning) and get on with investing in more 'reputable' companies. Please let us know who they are as we would be interested too.

Some shareholders don't seem to understand the share consolidation at all and imply it is some sort of scam. I suggest they try Googling "Special dividends share consolidation" where they will find a number of identical situations. Companies that are shown in the search results include International Hotels Group, Direct Line, Johnson Matthey, Homeserve, and Segro. This is an extract from Direct Line's Q&A document:- "It is anticipated that, as a result of the decrease in market value of Direct Line Group following payment of the Special Dividend, there would, without a consolidation of Direct Line Group's ordinary share capital, be a corresponding decrease in the market price of the Existing Ordinary Shares. Accordingly, as is customary where companies pay a significant special dividend to their shareholders, in order to maintain (subject to normal market fluctuations) the market price for ordinary shares at approximately the same level as prevailed immediately prior to the Special Dividend, a consolidation of Direct Line Group’s ordinary share capital is proposed" It isn't a scam, it isn't some way of duping investors, it's quite normal practice. If you can't understand it, maybe you shouldn't be investing in the first place.

MaloneyT Yes the share capital was reduced, but that doesn't mean much except each remaining share is then worth more (all other things being equal). Am I missunderstanding something here? I'm not sure why they did that as it makes no difference as far as I can see. The mkt cap is the mkt cap irrespective of how you divide it by shares. Shareholders all got a big payment from the company balance sheet so not sure what the conspiracy theory or suspicion of Chimers is actually about. I think the Belize aquisition is what everyone is suspicious about and it's still hounding the share price for transparancy reasons. I can understand the suspicions, and we don't know who they bought it from, but i've put that aside for now and bought the stock as it looks great value. Great YIeld, Very Profitable,Cash in balance sheet and an additional surpise deal could be done anytime. It could be a takeover target too at this cheap level.

Pls. remember that the so called special dividend was paid to SH by taking shares off them, so how can it be a special dividend if it was exchanged for shares?

Chimers..... "The CASH on the books is where again ? Oh silly me , its your cash of course." They are paying dividends, and recently did a special dividend. Not sure why Slater is selling, but that could turn out to be a great buying opp for others. I'm preparing to add a few as there looks to be good value here and potential for a doubling of market cap very rapidly if whatever suspicions investors who are bearish have, turn out to be wrong.

AISHAH - I do hope you're right. The share price performance here has been pretty atrocious over the past 3yrs in spite of the useful dividends in the meantime. Here's to much better in 2017!

I've been adding here recently. Techinvest made them a New Buy last month @7.75p with a detailed write-up. "Compelling value" was their headline. They are of the view that NPT may announce a significant acquisition soon or indeed be taken over by a larger player. Shore Cap EPS fcst of 0.9p (2016) followed by 1.10; PEGs of 0.03 and 0.33! Current yield over 7%. Over 40% mkt cap in cash. A New Year NAP from them? dyor

I'll be pleased if they do issue a trading update in January. They used to report KPI's quarterly, but in the results to 31 December 2014 they informed the market that they would now report KPIs on a half yearly basis. Obviously there is a difference between KPI's and a trading update.

The company provided a Trading Update on 28/1/16 following close of FY2015. I am not aware that they have said that they will not continue to issue trading updates as approporiate, although they are no longer obliged to do so. So every possibility of a Trading Update in Jan 2017 afaics.

From NPT Final Results (March 2016) - HTTP://www.netplaytv.com/system/storage/serve/6/NPTV%202015%20RESULTS%20FINAL.pdf Digital marketing business acquisition (pg5) The acquisition in August 2015 of the trade and assets of Otherside, a specialist online digital marketing, product development and technology company, has provided a complementary and profitable revenue stream whilst adding to our capability in driving traffic to NetPlay TV's brands. These assets included a proprietary media platform, which is best described as a Demand Side Platform (“DSP”). This DSP allows our media buyers to manage multiple ad and data exchanges, of which we have over 100, through a single interface. The DSP allows the team to build campaigns for our partners and efficiently manage bids and pricing for the media we are buying. The B2B offering generates revenue on a CPA, revenue share or hybrid basis for a number of companies across a wide range of sectors. The acquisition has proved a valuable addition to the Group and we are confident that this offering will go from strength to strength as we start to take advantage of a number of additional opportunities, including increasing contributions to our B2C business over time. Acquisition of digital marketing business (pg10) On 11 August 2015, the Group acquired the trade and assets of Otherside Inc. For clarity, the Group did not acquire the Otherside branding or website. This business generates revenue from companies operating across a range of sectors (e.g. binary options trading, online gaming and e-commerce) where it is paid for delivering leads or acquisitions on a CPA, revenue share or hybrid basis. The Board reports this operation as a new Business-to-Business (“B2B”) operating segment. This segment generated net revenue of £1.1m and a contribution of £0.2m to adjusted EBITDA between 11 August 2015 and 31 December 2015. The total consideration in relation to this acquisition is £3.2m of which £2.6m was paid within the year and £0.5m payable in 2016. This transaction was financed from existing cash resources. The Group incurred £0.2m of acquisition related costs which have been separately disclosed in note 3 to this report.
