Trent, I hear what you are saying...so this comes down to believing whether the management can succeed or not. Gary Shaw built St. Minver from scratch to selling it for $40m to Gtech...he now wants to build a bigger animal and sell it on for a much bigger price. So he has some experience. The new CEO, David Gosen was key at the start of Sky TV and was a central figure at Xbox, so he has some knowledge of how to build a tech business.

So for me, I'll take this bet...but others will take a while to come round to my way of thinking. There will be ups and downs but I think this is a good long term play on a fast growing sector...not forgetting that Nektan is already operating in the US, when other large competitors cannot do so. We shall see...

28 is demanding of course for unproven management. I know where you are coming from - it is a similar case over at SCH (gaming related as well who work with PTEC). In small fast growing companies they are likely to have high PEs but the question is whether they can maintain the growth. Look at GAME (same sector). Now a third of its recent float price and made the same arguments on IPO.

The company is at the start of the journey, so a PE for this year is meaningless. Looking to the next few years it is forecast to make £1.5m to June 2016 and £14.5m to June 2017...putting it on 28x 2016 and 3.1x 2017.
I know investors will be sceptical of these figures until closer to those year ends...but what if they do come through?
Personally I think the management are first rate and the company has already won contracts against the likes of Playtech.....I suspect this trend will continue.
Got to take a view.

Edison's June 2016 EPS was 6.8p before the Sun announcement with loss in 2015, but these need to be revisted IMHO.

My prediction is over the placing price of £2.32 by the end of the week. I understand the management may be on a roadshow for the next two weeks and they don't need to raise money. This business is going places especially with the Sun deal and the USA roll out going so well.

surely providing services to the sun will lead to a few mentions as well in their paper, a lot of exposure comes with this contract. will and have tucked a few thousand away as well, will revisit in 12 months and hope for a nice surprise, either share price rise or more probably swallowed up by larger competitor.

Maybe investors will start looking at NKTN now!! I gather there were several global companies going for this contract...well done.
The company is making significant headway in the US too...the profit potential is huge on this one.
