Market finally cottoning on to the potential here, JDA is done IMO and just formalities to come. With so little free float any demand for stock will see this gap up and still early days going from recent chart targets.

Normally I hate the phrase "they want your shares". You see it with companies who have 15 quadrillion share in issue and wonder why.

In our case, it could be true.

Only 1 MM on the bid at 7.5p but I am able to get a firm online sell quote at 7.56p for 225k of my holding

Normally anything over 50k and its telephone only

(No im not selling, just seeing what the MMs appetite for shares was)

Chinese state approvals will not take long. The project is not new and the approvals will already have been sounded out. It goes hand in hand with the JDA, China is looking for new markets and expansion into Mozambique is one of them. I believe the Govt approval will take 2-3 months.It will be a formality.

I also suspect something before the end of the month and if this Management has been savvy, they will have progressed other workstreams too to help the project along.

Well you'd like to think there is not much else to drag put. The only thing is that the Chinese government approvals are to come after everything else is concluded. Not sure how long that will take....

What issue? Let's be clear here, the last placing with with an institutional investor many moons ago and since then there have been no placings only shareholder loans - large shareholders in NCCL - who are not going to find it in their favour not to issue a further loan or amend the terms of the existing arrangement should this be required. No discounted bucket shop placings here.

Perceived "delay" to date is due to ongoing negotiations of equity split between parties and negotiations on that basis IMO. Infrastructure construction already in hand - seems a little pointless building transmission if you have nothing to transmit...

SEP as per their website are looking to expand their global footprint and there are several references to this and multinational operations in their recent company updates. All parties are clearly committed to getting this over the line (SEP worked over CNY I believe) which they wouldn't be doing unless finalisation of the JDA was imminent, obviously there's also pressure from the Moz government to get this plant producing within their timeframes, renegotiation of the shareholder loan I wouldn't rule out in the event of significant delay but news this month IMO.

Highest close since 28.9.14

Need to get over 8p to clear previous intra-day highs in the same period.

We all know the fundamental risk to NCCL - the chinese dont sign, or deliberately delay until the money runs out.

However, maybe just maybe it might actually happen :)
