Bought a few batches for a bounce. Lets see what happens.

Yes, a H1 profits warning and also suggesting there are unresolved management issues at the Accumuli acquisition.

Maybe the shares will bounce on the coming profits warning as they have already reacted to one, even though the statement said

"remains in line with the board's expectations”

??

Salparra "as long as there is no further bad news."

That is what the market must be worried about.

I couldn't understand the trading update as to whether it was a profits warning or not or whether it was setting things up for a future one?

Wondering if I was too early at 198!
Still feel that downside is limited from here.....as long as there is no further bad news.

fillipe - I would expect that the lower end of the range is quite likely to be tested, perhaps with a nice double bottom. One could then choose whether to enter ~180p near the bottom and maybe spend a year waiting for it to break out of the top of that range, or to wait for the 230p breakout to occur. Alternatively, trade the range, say 180-220p for a 20% upside. However, any imagined scenario is subject to 'events'.
Of course, a bid for the company may short-circuit all of our thinking.

I've added more at £2 this morning as I said I would. Stock can go lower of course, but I'm feeling very comfortable on a 12 to 18 month view. If it falls to 185p, I'll add again.

I reckon the lower end of your 170-230p range, from my own calc's.

Got that extra 20 I was after. Now at 200, I have closed out my short.

Should probably see support and bounce here.

There's probably no need to rush into this stock at this price. It may go lower, maybe not, but there is enough potential upside to allow the bottom to be firmly in and a recovery established and still leave a good gain to be harvested.
My possible scenario would be to for it to settle in the 170-230 range (as during 2014 to mid 2015) and then to follow a recovery from there.

Using this set back as an opportunity to increase my holding. This company will get taken out by a very big player at a significant premium to current share price within 3-5 years.

Just bought in here, at 199. Looking for a bounce back to commence soon.

Good luck all holders.

SP 348p -> 208p = 40% drop. Brutal. Need to watch out for being dumped out of FTSE 250 at this rate!

These are 'material' contracts but don't expect them to affect 2017 results. Suspect these weasel words will rebound in the form of further warnings. I'm on the sidelines for now.

More to the point with the latest RNS, I'd be interested to know who, if anyone, is picking up the lost contracts from NCC.

A definite setback but we are now talking of a stock with a PE in the teens and a 5p dividend, so some value has appeared.

I've continued to buy at 2.15 and again at 2.11 today. Another fall towards £2 and I'll buy more. Rarely you can buy a stock of this quality at these levels. Nothing wrong with the core business, but they've clearly hit some landmines on acquisitions - easily done, and will have taught them something. However, the outlook in their area for growth is so strong, they'd have to be unbelievable idiots to screw it up from here. Keep buying for the medium term.
