Publication of Amended Final Terms

The following Amended Final Terms are available for viewing:

Amended Final Terms dated 22 July 2016 relating to the issue by Nationwide Building Society of US$1,250,000,000 2.45% Senior Notes due 2021 issued pursuant to the US$20,000,000,000 Senior and Subordinated Medium-Term Note Programme established by Nationwide Building Society.

The following corrections has been made to the original Final Terms relating to the issue by Nationwide Building Society of US$1,250,000,000 2.45% Senior Notes due 2021 dated 22 July 2016 (the Original Final Terms):

(a) The first sentence of item 3 in Part B of the Original Final Terms amended from "Save for any fees payable to Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated (the "Placement Agents"), so far as the Issuer is aware, no person involved in the issue of the notes has an interest material to the offer." to "Save for any fees payable to BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC (the "Placement Agents"), so far as the Issuer is aware, no person involved in the issue of the notes has an interest material to the offer."

(b) The response to item 5(c) (Common Code) in Part B of the Original Final Terms is amended from "Not Applicable" to "U.S. Global Note: 144182111 International Global Note: 144182090".

The Amended Final Terms amend and restate the Original Final Terms.
