Self-help measures taken in H2 plus new volumes from QPP will combine to produce significant profit uplift in 2014. Takeover not required for share price to achieve £1+

not really getting away - QPP already have 25% of the equity so they only need to offer a premium to the 75% they don't know, so a £1 bid would only cost them £36mn cash (and they have £200mn available with £50mn earmarked for acquisitions). I'd say NARS and the rest of Himex are top of their list then QPP will be "complete"

Share price ticking up as well. Hopeful of a deal with the annual results? Timing good!

With continued focus on cash collection and further block settlements, the Board expects to demonstrate further improvement in the aging of trade debtors during the first half of 2014 as the Group's collaboration model for hire and repair moves towards 75% take up and initial contracts are reached for collaboration in legal services with insurers that represent a significant proportion of the market.

The above taken from the qpp closing statement, now just exactly where do you think all those signing on for the full collaboration model that is close to 75 per cent are going to have their cars fixed?

Well time will tell, but I think a deal with Quindell has to be a possibility.

The workload must be stacking up for NARS, given the never ending wet weather.

Most drivers don't make any change whatsoever to their driving behaviour on wet roads, even though their ability to swerve or brake hard, should the need unexpectedly arise, is severely limited.

All good.

Sold mine last year at 80p but looking at it again. What's the latest with this stock? Quindell? Other suitors? Last year results coming in march, any views?
Still seems a very tough industry with a lot of competition.
Get the feeling something is going to happen with this company

"..They have 200m raised for acquisitions.."

The £200m was largely to speed up development of contracts.

Where is the quindell situation up to? Are they waiting for yr end results?
They have 200m raised for acquisitions and you would have thought finding 25m for this would get done soon now? What's the view?
Thanks gh

Currently Quindell are at 25%, and yes they now have plenty of cash to buy the rest if they want to.

I thought quindell was maxed at 29.9 percent, so maybe takeover now possible.

...so potential for increasing its holding in NARS, or even bidding for the company?

Difficult to fathom the share price recovery considering that even on the good days SELLS still seem to outstrip BUYS, and on other days much of the time most trades are SELLS.
