I would put money on him saying the words "advanced mixed signal" and you have to know by now what that implies.........I'll be tuning in.

Less concerned about the actual sale of FW,just wishing to know that it still has a pulse and some other vital signs.......lol.

FW will hopefully attract some bidders off the back of the Olympics, then we can get on with the serious stuff.

10 DAYS TO GO........

"The Olympics remains a real catalyst and Future Waves (FW) is in several
products being trialled at Beijing"

Will we be any wiser ? I hope so.........FW newsflow has been thin on the ground.A product-launch rns would be the minimum requirement even if the OEM name is not revealed. If Beijing is "a real catalyst" then surely news is due.

This is a multi-billion dollar market and the closest I can find to Toumazs' system is nearly always a system like this...

The problem is,these systems are not "body worn",they require the patient to be proactive in collecting the data..(and can therefore never be 24/7).......Sensium will win out over all these systems and crucially the cost per patient will be very low.Hopefully not long before the NHS wakes up (initially private hospitals will point the way)

The first link mentions sleep apnea,if Sensium isn't an obvious way of diagnosing it,then I don't know what is........Q.E.D.

Spekky - your observations...

1. The Far East connection has bought in some new options
2. This will not be a problem given the names I have heard mentioned
3. This is almost certainly going to be a longer term thing given the current climate, while the cash injection would be most welcome, you don' want to give it away
4. Not yet, current climate makes that nonsense

You may have some good connections but the NDAs will keep a lid on the share price for some time yet (thats fine for now).I hope the sport agreement will ultimately lead to the name being divulged (as per Cardinal ).Not NIKE (US) but of that ilk would be good. In Europe (although global) I would be impressed to see Bayer Healthcare showing an interest. The current climate isn't great for "minnows" who thus far are racking up some major losses so I can see humbuggs' p.o.v.
Like most people I have an opinion on the NHS and how Toumaz can help to solve some of the problems.Unless you live in a major population centre you aint gonna have access to a hospital in future (its already happening).Remote monitoring is the future of healthcare.
Didn't feel tempted to add on the sport agreement but I'll look forward to regretting that. When I see the name I'll make a decision. On a more general note I am not aware of anything in the "homeland security" application which has been talked of fairly often............will the MOD be the next suitor? I remember turning up a Siemens connection on the H.S. application but cant find it at the moment.
My short term observations are
1...that the "search for a star" (board member) is taking longer than anticipated.
2...This will need new investors on board
3....I want the sale of FW to benefit the current investors and not be a carrot to entice new investors.
4....The Nasdaq listing will be the carrot.

the drewster,
you might get the impression that im a sceptic on timeframes, can't help it, goes with my trading style. yes its great news..........but its been good spin for a couple of years now. still willing to hang around with this one. i think you may have a point looking closer to home.

Indeed it is Spek, but it is just the start, I think you need to look at any "Far East" businessmen who might be able to influence adoption on a global level, and maybe you needn't look too far from home to start with.

I see that I was in some prescient state in my previous post, nice (or do I mean NIKE).
Drewster,is this what you were expecting?
It ticks another box for me and we are no doubt underestimating the significance, but I am still looking at something even bigger happening.

Clinical trials and Beta tests are required before FDA approval. Tne trials and tests for the digital plaster are expected to be completed by 1Q09.

But first results from clinical trials should be in by 4Q08.

Sensium in mass production and moving through the TI sales channel by 3Q08.

I am hoping for increased news flow over the course of the year which will hopefully get more people interested and get the shares re-rated.

IMHO DYOR etc etc

Toumaz Signs Sensium Sports Licensing Agreement (Nanoscience)

Embargoed Release: 07:00hrs Fri 4th July 2008

Nanoscience Inc.

('Nanoscience' or 'the Group')

Toumaz Signs Significant Licensing Agreement to Develop its
Sensium(tm) Technology in Sport

Nanoscience, the specialist niche investor in emerging technologies with strong
commercial propositions for the healthcare and electronic sectors, is pleased
to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Toumaz Technology Limited
(`Toumaz'), has signed a new licensing agreement with a sports-focussed
business originating from the Far East (the `Partner'), to develop Toumaz's
Sensium(tm) brand globally by establishing its technology in the sports industry.
The agreement is initially worth £1.5 million; £500,000 net has just been
received with the remainder to be paid within the next six months, pending the
fulfilment of certain obligations by Toumaz.

Under the agreement, the Sensium(tm) will initially target the football and horse
racing fields where a development programme is currently underway; strong
relationships with contacts and potential clientele have been established and
preliminary discussions have commenced to develop the Sensium(tm) as a premium
professional sports product. In addition, Toumaz is cultivating independent
relationships in the rugby sports sector.

The Sensium(tm) is a low-cost, end-to-end solution that measures human key vital
signs such as ECG, body temperature, respiration rate and physical movement on
a continuous and real time basis using unobtrusive, small and light wearable
devices that links wirelessly to a comprehensive data management system. Under
the agreement, it is envisaged that the Sensium(tm) will at first be developed as
a training aid with the aim of building a substantial and detailed data bank,
which would become an essential tool to support sports professionals and their
trainers.

The agreement highlights the adaptability of Toumaz's Sensium(tm) technology; it
has made impressive headway in the healthcare sector as relationships and
strategic partnership agreements have been signed with Texas Instruments
Incorporated and Cardinal Health to develop and market Sensium(tm) branded
products that are currently undergoing rigorous market testing and FDA approval
processes.

Guy Spelman, chief executive officer at Nanoscience, commented:

`The new licensing agreement represents an exciting opportunity for Toumaz and
its increasingly recognised Sensium(tm) technology. We believe the Sensium(tm) is the
ideal training aid to optimise the latent talent of sports professionals by
monitoring their health and fitness and capturing this data. Toumaz's new
Partner offers both extensive and well respected channels to the sports
industry and we at Nanoscience fully anticipate that the two parties working in
tandem will establish the Sensium(tm) as a formidable elite brand going forward.'
