Posted at 09/7/2008 15:18 by spekky I think someone should give the Nan website an update, its woefully behind what we currently know.(eg still showing Corvus etc). |
Posted at 16/6/2008 09:34 by spekky Is your current thinking related to Future Waves specifically? or NAN in general? Or would it be better to look at the OMX connection? At this stage I am only expecting to hear of additional investment interest, not buying/takeover interest. |
Posted at 10/6/2008 19:45 by spekky Its good news for NAN because I'm sure its the type of technology that will become a prerequisite for care home operators by legislation.Even if the Brits dont value their elderly/infirm relatives, lots of other european societies do.Telecare will be embedded in euro legislation within a 5-10yr period, hopefully MyAmego is ahead of current thinking and will become the benchmark.Too easy at the moment to be totally beguiled by the Toumaz potential (guilty) but I wouldn't be surprised if Sentinel Healthcare achieve profitability way ahead of Toumaz et al. |
Posted at 12/5/2008 19:13 by spekky From a few days ago at eHealth 2008 conference........I think they're singing our song.Make no mistake, the NAN group will be taking a huge slice of that forthcoming action.Reading that led me to this The group of EHTEL directors includes a guy from Intel,I have been wondering whether they had any interest in telemedicine and I think thats a yes.In my ideal world,INTEL would be the next to come courting the Toumaz technology. |
Posted at 12/5/2008 08:14 by spekky More good news, looks like the sale of FW will be a breeze when it happens.Of course they might not be in a position to dictate that a sale will occur since they are 18% share now.Sale or no sale ,NAN (Toumaz) will always draw royalties from FWs use of Toumaz IP......win,win.....Wish they could say more about the "product". |
Posted at 06/5/2008 07:17 by spekky Excellent RNS today......looks likely that NAN have developed another winner with worldwide appeal. It could even acheive profitability before the others. |
Posted at 20/2/2008 10:17 by spekky HumbuggYour right of course, thats the problem with smallcaps like this one.I did say on this thread (or maybe the other one) it would take years to get into profit. On the PR side NAN are not great. They set themselves 11 key targets in their roadmap for the current financial year and I think we've had feedback on one (albeit a v.important one). Corvus pulling out has not helped but looking at what CVS are doing (not just pulling out of NAN) leads one to suspect they have their own problems. The stockmarket is very difficult at the moment, not much room for companies which are essentially "blue sky". I have tended to think recently that I should have waited for a period of consistent newsflow before buying in, but, because I have aquired a lot of information/understa Non Disclosure Agreements will shackle NAN share price for a while yet but it will eventually become obvious who the "global" partner is and I will begin to enjoy my foresight. IMHO the next likely news (not RNS) could be the release of the first PURE digital radio containing FutureWaves chip (March I think).Don't stay invested if you dont really believe in the endgame,I think Guy Spelman will steer various components of the NAN group to sale at very attractive prices (when market conditions improve). EDIT,Looking at the roadmap March 2008 should be significant. |
Posted at 08/2/2008 08:24 by spekky Regarding disclosures, have the AIM rules changed? I presume the extract below is the reason we have not seen the flip side of the recent CVS disposal.Related party transactions 13. This rule applies to any transaction whatsoever with a related party which exceeds 5% in any of the class tests. I can't find any reference to 3% thresholds and 1% increments,Apparentl % Saad Investment Company 21,330,500 (9.81) Glastad Invest 20,371,882 (9.37) NAN Directors 14,409,432 (6.63) Herald Investment Management 13,300,000 (6.12) David C Newton 13,254,853 (6.10) Majedie Investments 11,955,625 (5.50) Gennum Corporation 11,078,288 (5.09) Sinolite 8,302,235 (3.82) Keith Errey 7,876,865 (3.62) Seymour Pierce Ellis, stockbrokers 7,352,500 (3.38) A.N.OTHER (or one/all of above) 7.400,000 (ex CVS holding.) That was the position at 07/08/07,so I guess we're due an update. |
Posted at 30/1/2008 22:07 by don muang well, let's see if we get an RNS this week .... and / or another interesting large transaction/s this weekone 'interesting' point is that present NAN website lists CVS as having 7,400,000 shares - so I presume that is correct being from 'the horses mouth' - but last 'holdings' rns from NAN concerning CVS gives that I can see (20 April 2007) gives them holding 7,850,000 .... am I missing some announcement between then and now.... |
Posted at 17/12/2007 12:51 by don muang I guess it's due to lack of active buyers. Even when positive RNS's come out then there is little buying activity. Presume even if PI's are aware of NAN then it's not on their monitoring list. If no one is matching sells then bound to fall even on low volume. Now what we need for short to medium term is NAN included in some financial press as one of the 'Stocks for 2008'. |
