15/12/2016 15:49 | V11 Where did you scource this info on new vote please? | slipperysidewinder
15/12/2016 15:49 | V11slr if it is at least the PIs will not supply the dosh.It could be for the expansion of Runcorn. | syd777
15/12/2016 15:41 | New vote allowing 5% to go to institutions without involving the PI. Sounds like a placing coming to me. | v11slr
15/12/2016 15:41 | Woody its anyone's guess who the rest are I would not count out TCL but CES17 will confirm the facts,Fil yes it was a great AGM I'm glad I attended. | syd777
15/12/2016 15:37 | Thanks Syd. Sounds like it was a good agm to attend for sure! | fil340
15/12/2016 15:36 | The demand for upto 100" has become so much of a priority that WH has moved up 12 months ahead with the new facility going live by 2nd quarter, and through Merck, and DOW they have the capacity to meet the demand and they both have 2 Flim suppliers signed up. | syd777
15/12/2016 15:29 | There has been a complete lock down on any news from DOW after the DUPont merger. There you go HiSense the first brand to be named using Nanoco ;) | syd777
15/12/2016 15:25 | There was 3 new votes cast but 1 was of interest,Nanoco can sell 5% to II without offering them to PIs.. To me it looks like an institution wants to buy in.There will be Branded TVs at CES hence the S.There was no mention of a cash call and it looks like there will not be ONE! | syd777
15/12/2016 15:20 | When asked about the USS recent sale Caroline Wastson replied that they don't know why they sold and it had nothing to do with Nanoco and she doesn't know what their strategy was as it looked like their own restructuring. The competitors Nanosys has NO CF,I then asked about QMC the Stifel guy said he was going to visit then 2 months back, but thought they were bankrupt but raised more funds, then ME replied they use BAyers patent and Nanoco looked into it and thought it was not the way forward and he expects them to fail as he and Stifel said they have not received one order. | syd777
15/12/2016 15:19 | More jiggery pokery ss far as I am concerned. Just wish it would rise more so I can double short it. | slipperysidewinder
15/12/2016 15:18 | I believe that HiSense = Sharp among other brands. | woody33
15/12/2016 15:10 | When the question of revenue came up it was left to Peel Hunt to comment and revenue was expected to £8 million Y/E July 17..I personally think that might increase after CES as ME has said all the Cadium based TVs from last year are going CF at this years CES. | syd777
15/12/2016 15:06 | Nanoco is helping HiSense to go CF,Samsung with 25 million TVs out next year will definitely require additional supplies.I asked ME about LGs duel strategy using QDs it was the first time he herd of it and said they were concentrating on OLED, but then I mentioned their CEO said in September that they were going to use a QD colour filter he pointed to the TV that was on display there'If I was to brand it I could of sworn it looked like LG'. | syd777
15/12/2016 13:38 | I am with you Ken it is uncanny how 'timely' some of the exchanges between syd and slippy are but respect him / them either way! And slippy admitting wants ramp up post AGM for a double short position. AGM statement first evidence of Nanoco backing up their product in more detail. Hope it was a good AGM Syd. | firminator1
15/12/2016 13:36 | I agree, products out of the door and cash flow in the bank, and the share price will go up and stay up. | andycapped
15/12/2016 13:24 | Sounds positive but this will only take off once a product is actually confirmed with NANO dots inside. It's been a long wait but hopefully it will be worth it in the long run. Another one of Buffet's favourites entelon is "time in the market not timing the market" which applies to investors rather than traders. Many of us have held NANO for a long time and hopefully that will certainly apply to us before much longer? | warranty
15/12/2016 12:54 | How about other posters from here? Have to admit, I'm still not convinced you and ssw aren't the same person, but if your news here pans out, I don't really care! :-) | kenirogas
15/12/2016 12:32 | Keni ME and all the board was there too,A tv company was named too, I will talk more after the drive back. | syd777
15/12/2016 12:31 | ha thanks Enteleon - probably not been too transparent when i had to tell my wife how much i was down on the shares at c 34p !(for me a decent amount of savings) but something tells me that Nanoco and the technology they are involved in has to come good. Just really pleased a few press leaks and now the AGM given more promise of actual commercial output of this technology into next year. No doubt the share price will keep bob up and down and if i can will try and minimise the drop but overall things seem much more positive all of a sudden. Fair play to the shorts they will do their best to undermine the growth but recent news justifies sticking with it. | firminator1
15/12/2016 12:28 | Meet anyone else there Syd? Thanks for the news :-) | kenirogas
15/12/2016 12:27 | Fil they all did when Stifel said did the Kodak patent cost £5 million divide that by 10 fold £500.000 ;). Let me get back lots more to come. | syd777
15/12/2016 12:25 | thanks Kenirogas i timed it at 4.29pm purchase so just got in. Wow Syd branded TVs at CES rather than generic concept is great news. | firminator1
15/12/2016 12:19 | Syd, you just put a great big fat smile on my face! | fil340
15/12/2016 12:17 | Great news from the AGM! A lot to talk about, let me get back a little taster the TVs that will be on display at CES are all BRANDED! | syd777
15/12/2016 11:31 | enteleon - "Decide what you really believe in; buy courageously; buy cheap; be very, very patient." Very good if you can do it! Very tough indeed to get both correct. I wish you well. Nice to see a bit more "positivism" from NANO. We may actually be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It is A VERY LONG tunnel though, so the latter part of your quote above is certainly applicable here IMO. Looking forward to the AGM feedback when our roving reports return. Then I will look forward to CES 2017 and hope that kicks the share-price higher. With luck it will be a gradual climb back up in-between. | lauders |
