08/11/2016 18:25 | ..obviously a typo/auto text meant USS | firminator1
08/11/2016 18:22 | Lexaetura1.USA?..USS is a uk based pension investment scheme.Nothing to do with the US or the dollar. | syd777
08/11/2016 17:59 | At what point did USA buy NANO? Just wondering, with the recent Brexit GBP currency crash they may have made a 25% profit overnight and decided to cash out, wouldn't blame them. | luxaeterna1
08/11/2016 17:53 | What a hilarious bunch of posts. If Slippy could he would accuse Nanoco of witchraft and demand the company is burned to the ground. As for institutional selling it was a measly 250k share offload whilst USA still hold 9.4m shares. Do not see that as heading for a hard exit myself. Impossible to take some of the stuff written with any belief when it is so one sided backed by every emotion but no facts. Yes the share price has dropped massively but for long term holders this is a long term waiting game to next year. My big concern is a point Slippy has raised is cash burn. IF Nanoco announce funding rights issue request next 3 to 6 months they would have lost credibility with me. For now that is not even on the table. Believe my fellow nanoco believers | firminator1
08/11/2016 17:34 | Seeing some very rash rhetoric on this board over the past couple of days. Couple of points I'd like to raise, SSW says 24 hour production has been closed at Nanoco- got some evidence to back that up? Regarding supply, I don't think anyone on this board knows if Dow has a contract to supply one way or the other. We know they've supplied samples, that's about it. However they're not the only ones with a dog in the fight, we also have Merck and Wah hong, perhaps not as far along as Dow, but for the naysayers ask yourself why they would be licensing Nanoco's tech if it was a dead duck. | andycapped
08/11/2016 17:12 | Yet the funniest post for today belongs to someone else....who doesn't want to buy at this price, but rather waits until it reaches £1 :-)! | balaura
08/11/2016 17:01 | slip, you're beginning to crack me up. 'My investment decisions'. You decided years ago that there was no money in investment. So what are your investments just so we can benefit from those decisions? | kuss1
08/11/2016 16:27 | CFQD market huge, expanding, and inevitable. Quality of cad-free attracting the punters in their droves. Upside on Nanoco is huge. Dow making dots, the train is coming... ... will we get a mid-Nov RNS advising of Dow royalties?? :) | fil340
08/11/2016 16:23 | Nanoco annual report 2016 p9: 2017 objectives The key objectives for the financial year are to: • grow revenue from sales of CFQD® quantum dot products manufactured directly and through our licensees; ... | fil340
08/11/2016 16:19 | Fil I dont base my investment decidions by looking at what it says on Amazon. But, i wil say this, the fact that longs are using Amazon at their pirt of call for research does enter my thinking before i place short position bets. I suppose this is the difference between you and I. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 16:16 | The future is CFQD. Go to amazon.com and type in SUHD which is Samsung's QD lineup. Samsung want 20m TV's will dual source from Dow. Dow supplying dots; no smoke without fire. hxxps://www.amazon.c | fil340
08/11/2016 16:12 | Fil You have just posted the folloeing diatribe "recently published annual report 2016 promises - for the very first time - expectation of growing revenue" Please explain to the board how one can promise the 'expectation' of growing revenue?????? Your writing is naieve and nonsensical. Your laughable! | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 16:12 | fil, if you have invested money here you simply cannot afford to ignore an element of the overall picture as significant as the share price. A friend of mine who likes to invest when she believes the share price does not reflect the fundamentals is always telling me that the share price and the fundamentals will ultimately converge. She means to the upside. It can of course go the other way. | onething
08/11/2016 16:09 | If some think QDs are a dead end tech, they must think again,it's just begging to grow baby theeths have just fallen and mature theeths are starting to grow. | syd777
08/11/2016 16:08 | There are no pockets in shrouds. Dont be the dead hero, holding the door as otherd bale out. There is still time to salvage something so you can live to fight another day. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 16:08 | On the contrary. Annual report 2015 announces commissioning of Cheonan, promises only that sampling will begin second half FY2016. Recently published annual report 2016 promises - for the very first time - expectation of growing revenue. So here we are, on the cusp, Dow making Dot's CES close, lots for hte short 'n' distort brigade to fight for. | fil340
08/11/2016 16:03 | Apart from the continual failure to derive commercial revenue whilst at the same time spending vast amounts of cash on lifestyle choices and nice to haves. | bagpuss67
08/11/2016 15:59 | Putting the shareprice to one side, there is not one single new fact supporting the contention that Nanoco's plan is derailed. Not one. | fil340
08/11/2016 15:44 | Now we have arrived back in the Feb to July trading range the only question is will we now hold there for some more months before another attempt to rise from the ashes (and it is some way from here now to break out above the recent mid 70s high), or will we collapse through the 38p floor below which we will have a tough resistance (that trading range) to muscle back through. Wah Hong and Merckh were big ticket news items, now completely spent as far as momentum goes. Think hard about holding an evangelical belief in the future of QDOTs. At the moment. And that moment could be a rather elongated moment. The market is not having it. If you believe you really know better then good luck to you. I won't be back in now until we break £1 on significant and sustainable results. If we do the rewards from then could still be huge. | onething
08/11/2016 15:42 | Once institutions ( who have a great deal more investment tools and experience over and above private investors, and are very close to the company ) start headng for the door, it is efectively all over imho. Regrettably have seen this many times. The ever decreasing circle of hope and oppurtunity and shareholder value evaporating right in front of us. Gut wrenchingly insideous. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 14:50 | For those unaware, here is footage of Slippy giving his famous motivational speech at a recent event: | fil340
08/11/2016 14:48 | Level 2 shows neat a total dearth of buyers. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 14:48 | I've always been intrigued by Michael Walters - found about his long on Nanoco years after my initial purchase. Wish I could see his bulletin board sometimes. | fil340 |
