It looks as if someone wanted to close or reduce today, worked the higher levels but the volume wasn't there so towards the close they have sold into the order book to shift their stock. A reaction to no Merck or Dow news maybe, the final straw?

Merck agm web cast available. Not even a nod to quantum dots in either of Merck or dows presentations this week. Very depressing.

Bagpuss67, thanks for that. Nanosys PR head and shoulders above our geeks at Nanoco eh, but we are surely top of the league when it comes to shareselling ceo's :(

Further announcement from quantum materials. At least some industry players are actually doing something rather than just talking about it once a year at the results announcement.

Nanosys website says it's them. I know they haven't always been the most reliable but they did the last generation. And no reference to cadmium free. Nanoco seem to just be perpetual dreamers.

nothing on their blog, or twitter either. You begin to wonder just what this company gets up to. Seems total self-interest.

Gervais says re. Nanoco:
"Using its technology, it will receive licensing fees when it comes on stream and it will get some revenues from selling certain parts of the spectrum which they’re not manufacturing directly."
He probably understands a lot about shares but does he understand Nanoco?

Andycapped, I think ME's constant reference to Samsung and use of Samsung images in his presentations indicates to me that Samsungs use of Dow/Nanoco qds is a given.

Kmann, a glance at a daily line chart will show that we are not slowly creeping up but struggling to break above the longer term downtrend. You are either a shameless ramper or a very nice positive minded individual who it would be nice to chat with over a pint of frothing ale.

Interesting comments from the Gervais Williams at Milton - thanks for posting. He's done very well out of his purchase of IGR shares over the years.

And a quote from qdotty's link
Samsung has developed a number of televisions with quantum dots and they have manufactured their own volumes up until now. But they are now growing at such a fast pace and becoming so much more mainstream that they're now looking for new supply
