20/3/2017 17:47 | from cnn on tech startups in America, A stream of “down rounds” – when a company raises funds by selling shares that are valued lower than the last time they raised funds, leading its overall valuation to fall – has led investors to be more discerning a lot of similarity to nano, all easily fixed by the magic rns announcing commercial sales come on nano tell the people you are selling cfqd to real customers. Now 3 months since agm when PH .forecast £7-8million income, 16 weeks left to produce the goodies. | notimpressed
20/3/2017 16:47 | quite agree. No more buys for me.Most other 'simple' shares (e.g. stob, rbs, tate, etc..) all up since Dec. some by over 15%.Makes you wonder at our presence here? | jfacwc
20/3/2017 16:36 | Looking at the daily chart I wouldn't be surprised if we settled sub 40p for now. Too long at that level with tests of the downside. | onething
20/3/2017 16:33 | For this to be a good buying opportunity you need to be sure that the market is pricing this wrong. Are you? There has been no validation of the companies bullish claims or confirmation of activity by the high profile partners (Edit: for over two years, maybe more now). The share price is slowly dissolving. So what are you buying with any certainty during this opportunity?Would you also nip out to Currys and buy a QD telly for £1500+ without reading a single review or looking at a switched on demonstrator in person?Hard facts are required here. | onething
20/3/2017 16:25 | some good buying opportunities though? Although less has been said on this subject in recent times. Be green by the close? | jfacwc
20/3/2017 16:01 | Robotface is this is what u want | roadster750
20/3/2017 15:56 | Not worried about a posh frock, it's what goes on inside those four walls that matters. | andycapped
20/3/2017 15:36 | Yes. And a building with some modernity. | robotface
20/3/2017 15:20 | What were you expecting. Little bunny rabbits and fluffy kittens? | andycapped
20/3/2017 15:12 | It looks pretty grim on google maps. | robotface
20/3/2017 14:27 | No I meant since this years CES. Regarding Nanoco location, just ask Syd, he's beeen there. Or get in touch with Caroline and ask for a guided tour! | andycapped
20/3/2017 13:40 | mrplay, precisely if they are in production why don't they announce it. the market would indicate otherwise as the sp drifts inexorably downwards. | notimpressed
20/3/2017 13:38 | Looking on google maps the site is sprawling with no indication of where Nanoco is located, finding the reception would be a start I suppose. | roadster750
20/3/2017 13:27 | andy ... you did mean CES 2015?? | jfacwc
20/3/2017 13:26 | Syd we all now know that philips will be selling production models in september. We have seen the parrot on the screen link to a nanoco parrot ;) hxxps://t.co/VkjA9Wy | mrplay
20/3/2017 13:11 | is that because the factory is so tiny? | minsky
20/3/2017 12:53 | ajrgy, as a shareholder you own the company no need to be covert just turn up and ask a few questions, finding nanoco amongst the heath business park might be the biggest problem. | roadster750
20/3/2017 12:42 | Quantum dot TVs from Philips expected to be launched in September.Wah Hong are supplying the dots through their agreement with Nanoco ;) | syd7777
20/3/2017 12:37 | If you look at the overall trend, the share price has been on a slow downward trajectory since the CES, which I think disappointed most as they were expecting to see production ready models on the main floor, not a handful of prototypes propped up by soft furnishings in a small room. Save for the anti-cadmium tweets and the odd conference appearance, there's been no notable news since then. Much now depends on the news on 4th April. | andycapped
20/3/2017 11:54 | ajrgy - do it - for the sake of a 20 minutes drive its got to be worth it. Just nonchalantly mingle with the smokers outside the building. You'd have too long a wait to see the lorry shipping out the containers of dots. It would be great if someone could volunteer to get a job as a cleaner there too, that would be handy, or a skipper on ME's yacht. Just to eavsedrop on the banter. | minsky
20/3/2017 11:07 | Fingers crossed for the eggs in other basket's!! This is seriously testing my resolve on holding, where's your PR Nanoco?????????? Tempted to take the 20 minute drive to Runcorn and knock on the door, though half of me would expect to see the gates locked and the windows boarded up!!! | ajrgy1
20/3/2017 11:01 | always something to worry about then! | jfacwc
20/3/2017 10:55 | A different technology emerging and seemingly being implemented while Nanoco is watching its first mover advantage move nowhere. The other comment in that article above that worried me was Samsung cancelling its OLED programme. However wonderful these new technologies seem at the outset (quantum dots is a case in point) if the technology proves too expensive to reliably implement, or consistent quality cannot be achieved, it will be dropped in favour of something that works. | onething
20/3/2017 10:53 | ajrgy, that is my understanding as well, think it might be a bit of slick marketing by LG to counter Samsung's success in cfqd display. | notimpressed |
