"Production of 3,921 carats will be sold via an independent tender in Johannesburg between 18 – 27 January 2011." "The freshwater dam is scheduled to be completed in late February 2012.A new final diamond recovery area, is also expected to be completed in February 2012." "Production guidance for FY2012 remains unchanged at 200Kcts." "A 37.46ct diamond was discovered on the Company's operations on the South East Node, which is expected to realise significant value during the January 2012 sales process." "Generation of positive cashflow from the Kao mine expected in Q1'CY2012 and a significant reduction of Group corporate costs for FY2012."

There should be a lot to report when news arrives. Is it possible to find out how much the 37.46ct stone fetched in the sale?

onceabroker,

There is no confirmed date as to when KILL are due to make payment but one must assume, with full commercial production looming and significant CapEx already well spent, payment must be required very soon.

Donald Tramp,

You came here looking for trouble with an issue totally unrelated to NAD. I very politely asked you to refrain and you have returned causing more trouble. Now, please stop acting like a chavvy tramp and grow up. If you have something useful relating to NAD to contribute please do so, if not, run along and stop causing unnecessary trouble.

one and only post in response to your posts on here..........keep it off nad and onto crnd. no need for me to go into a reply to you on here.

a excellent post as ever, full commercial production is scheduled for April 2012 (could be a little earlier), i did not realise that this was the date when Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited are due to make their contribution. i will add that to my list of positive news flow expected in April.

the Sp is reacting to market sentiment for diamond company's for the last few days, we could be heading towards double figures very soon

best regards

John

baffins I agree it's nothing to do with the NAD thread, which I clearly stated myself.

I am not causing trouble, what have I said in any offence with regard to NAD nothing.

So don't come the big "I am" with me. You carry on and report me, see where it gets you once they have reviewed what has actually been posted.

Have a nice day.

Donald, I kindly suggest you take your problem back to the CRND thread as it has nothing to do with NAD and it has the potential to disrupt this thread.

If you continue with your unrelated trouble causing I will have no other option but to report you.

Please take heed.

Makes you look a fool. Maybe you should see the response from the poster, he will report you if you do it again. He gives a very lengthy answer to your childish and untrue post.

Excuse me for posting on here other posters, but there's no need for just one single post like that.

With news imminent due it may be worth containing expectations with a recap of what must be considered.

Firstly, the Kao tender is for 3,921 carats, predominately small diamonds with an average size of 0.21cts, sourced primarily from K-Other weathered kimberlite. The K-other produce is of significantly lower carat value than the K6 produce. In fact the K6 produce commands approx twice the price of the K-other produce.

Taking this into consideration, along with the current state of the diamond market and the small stones on offer, I think reasonable carat values for the 3,921 carats from the K-other ore body should be in the region of between $120 and $160 per carat.

Therefore, the total revenues (excluding WI and taxes) from the 3,921 carats on offer from Kao could be between $470,520 and $627,360.

Keeping on the Kao topic, some will have noticed the repeated mention of "Capital cost of US$66m (as at 31 December 2011), 100% FUNDED BY NAMAKWA, with an additional US$8m to be spent during Q1'CY2012"

The current WI structure of Kao is:

NAD - 62.5%
The Government of Lesotho - 25% (undilutable, free carry)
Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited - 12.5%

Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited are responsible for 12.5% of this CapEx due to their interested stake and although I do not expect them to cough up their share of the additional US$8m for Q1'2012 just yet I do expect them to hand over their share of the US66m already spent which will amount to US$8.25m. If they do not cough up they run the risk of losing their stake and should that be the case their 12.5% will be returned to NAD.

Under the terms of the agreement set up when Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited took up their 12.5% stake they were obligated to pay US$1.5m to NAD in respect of its portion of the share of acquisition costs for the Kao project and fund their proportion of the Phase 1 CapEx development and operational costs (expected to be in the region of US$11m up to the commencement of commercial production in the first quarter of the 2012 calendar year). Thereafter, they are required to meet their portion of the funding requirements of the Kao Project as an ordinary shareholder of Storm Mountain Diamonds. The intention of Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited is to raise the necessary funds to repay these liabilities from the public market in Lesotho.

As you can see, taking all into account NAD is owed approx US$10m by Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited. It is a significant amount and will go a long way to repaying a portion of the Jarvine debt.

Back to the tender, NAD have a nice 37.46ct stone from South East Node in South Africa up for sale too. No mention of the quality though which is a little disappointing but this area does throw up quality stones. The fact that the management have stated that this stone "is expected to realise significant value" leads me to believe that the quality is good therefore I am expecting it to sell for in excess of US$0.4m alone.

All in all I am expecting approx US$1m in sales revenue with a further US$10m from Kimberlite Investments Lesotho Limited to be reported sometime during Q1 2012.

Lets see.

Bollinger bands are very accurate in identifying breakouts and the BB's on this stock are tight, which is what you want, and indicate a solid move to come. Price as now broken out of the upper band..a super technical set up for further gains

L2 is again weighted towards MM needing stock, but it does seem that PI's are unwilling to sell at this low level, we have 615 v 370. with plenty of support from 8.00 upwards. so you can bet that MM will try and trigger any stop losses on the way up.

the other diamond company's are also showing increased MC, and it would point to a resurgence of diamond stocks from their beaten down levels, which is long overdue given how the ftse and economy has progressed since the last quarter of 2011.

we all know the data to be released in April, but a few snippets of news prior will also drive this share price upwards

1/ any increase in II holdings RNS

2/ directors buys

3/ confirmation of a positive tender sale last week

4/ confirmation of the completion of the freshwater dam is scheduled to be completed in late February 2012. A new final diamond recovery area, is also expected to be completed in February 2012

so come on NAD BOD, show us some communication!!

best regards

John

this is starting to look much better, L2 is 488 v 385. we have seen for the last 2 weeks a consistent buyer of the stock, picking up stock in batch's of 300 / 400 / 500, one of the brokers here has this buy order, and is buying slowly to make sure the market and Sp is not spooked, hence they are delaying the publications of the trades until well after market end on a daily basis.

looking forward to a RNS to state the improved percentage from a II in due course.

we look to have waved goodbye to the '6' range, and are now firmly in the '7' range, a slow recovery to mid teens prior to the big announcements in April, IMHO, given that the current valuation is not consistent with current fundamentals of the company, we are in a superb position, much better then when we were pre-September 2011, when the share price was mid 40,

now sit back and relax, the economical climate / diamond market and company strategic plan are all coming together to make this one of the best investments in the diamond market today

diamond prices just shot up 4.7%

best regards

from November rns

At the Special General Meeting of shareholders held today, the Capitalisation of a US$16.03m trade debt owed to Jarvirne Limited ("Jarvirne") was approved. As a result, an additional 66,791,667 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company will be issued and allotted, fully paid, to Jarvirne at a deemed price of 15p per share, representing a 150% premium to the closing market price of the Company's shares on 22 November 2011. Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the new shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. Admission is expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on Monday 28 November 2011. The new shares when issued, will rank pari passu with all other ordinary shares in the capital of the Company.

Following the issue and allotment of the new ordinary shares, Jarvirne will own 98,665,158 shares in the capital of the Company, representing 32.46%. As part of the capitalisation transaction, independent shareholders approved the waiver of a requirement for Jarvirne to make a mandatory bid for the remaining outstanding shares in the Company, having crossed the 30% bid threshold under the Company's Bye-laws. Jarvirne has entered into a relationship agreement with the Company (conditional only upon admission of the new shares to trading) to manage the conduct of the parties, whilst Jarvirne holds more than 30% of the issued share capital of the Company.
