I have been off line for a few days.

I take liitle joy in the fact that my prediction about the company's future was so accurate.

MYHOME HIT AFTER PAYMENT DEMAND
Domestic cleaning specialist Myhome International , which has
over 900 franchisees, has gone into administration. The appointment of Ernst &
Young as administrators affects only the parent company rather than the trading
subsidiaries. Administrator Roy Bailey explained that underlying businesses are
not subject to the insolvency proceedings and should continue to operate while
the group's strategic options are considered. Shares in Myhome were suspended on
Wednesday at five-pence after the group received a demand notice from Lloyds TSB
for the immediate payment of loans totalling eight million pounds.

Rather odd no RNS made for the fact that E&Y have been appointed as administrators!

asapex....Yep they will buy at a 1p in the £1 from the liquidator. It will make a reasonable business debt free. Franchises...timeshare....solar panels....all can be nice earners in their time. A recession looms and lots of punters with redundancy cheques wanting a wee business of their own, happy days. Except for shareholders of course.
imo

ASAPEX

The 'high profile' shareholders will use this as a tax loss against other gains.

Much more profitable than trying to rescue value.

What's likely to happen now?

Will a rescue package materialise or are the liquidators going to be called in?

Surely some of the high profile investors will ensure that they rescue some value?

at the end of the day oven cleaners, lawn mowers and car scratch repairs is hardly a strong foundation to build a plc business on.

it just surprised me how long it took for the bank to realise.
