Redstone worked out well for 2 reasons and both reasons are that management played a blinder.
Cant say more, sharp practice ? No , smart practice ? Yep.

This is your third home in the Algarve and upgrade to the Sunseeker for 2017.

Just sit back and let others provide ;)

Nom nom nom.

Keeping things really simple... the Company's business model is profitable and it's hoped that some of our Assets grow in good time and that opportunities present themselves to sell on our share of them as and when significant growth makes it viable.
Very interesting how "RED" worked out quite well... for now.
I'm holding

Smithers said this with words..............

"The special spark at the heart of MXC is our increasing ability to deliver deal flow. This is our "golden currency". I see our model gaining pace as we combine that deal flow with our experience in the public market, our acute focus on operational improvement and the speed of our funding. I have not felt more excited about the opportunities ahead for MXC and for our shareholders"

Enjoy.

Here is the "clue"

Its a big "clue"

Some will spot it , others wouldnt even if it arrived with a fanfare of angels and a giant sign attached saying "clue"

"It is worth noting where we are in our investment cycle: we realised one of our investments during the year (£10.4 million) whilst investing some £31.5 million in new opportunities. Our slower NAV per share growth during the year reflects the balance between recent and mature investments in our portfolio. We would expect our recent investments to begin to contribute to NAV growth in the coming year."

Chimers, you're best post ever. Why was this business model allowed. Because it worked until it didn't. Well said. It doesn't work anymore

And one would think things can't be that bad at RCN, or MXCP wouldn't have bought back in. Unless they're very rattled......

I refer only to the RCN/MXCP/Weaver conundrum, as known to exist.
That's the nub of it.

What is known is that it's an RCN problem,a CFO problem there, a potential Weaver problem, and he is an advisor at MXCP. Therefore an 'issue' there.

What you have to remember is to go and look at your OWN record and despair at its abject failure and worthlessness and then look at mine!!
I who calls it right when it matters.
Its as if I know what Im doing and you .................DONT.
Thats why your working for the man.
