22/7/2015 13:57 | I am afraid that a new nomad is not going to make much difference, now. Thanks to Dearing, you have a company that may be controlled by it's 30% shareholder Mr Ning. He and Mr Kwan are currently the only executive directors. Cheers,Dearing! | gfrae
22/7/2015 13:55 | does apfindley actually hold of any of these? | thecynical1
22/7/2015 10:58 | Perhaps those that are buying know, or believe, that a new Nomad will appear today or tomorrow, and then those of us that have sold will prove to be the idiots? | asmodeus
22/7/2015 09:45 | Those in the know in for some easy money ? | juju44
22/7/2015 09:37 | What idiots are buying these small ammounts right now? This company WILL be suspended from 4:30 FRIDAY if no nomad is appointed. One month after that, it will be delisted. The company themsrlves have already told the market this info | apfindley
22/7/2015 08:20 | a little bit more buying today. My guess is professionals covering their shorts. Those in the know sold circa 1.9p covering back circa 1.10p | taxibabe
22/7/2015 07:26 | apfindley - so you must be the Poster who made a small fortune out of MWA, having started with a large one, and who got me in to trouble with ADVFN just for quoting and complaining about the bad language used by another Poster? Can't remember your pseudonym at the time. | asmodeus
21/7/2015 21:20 | Pre- Fund managers don't care. Really. It's only others people money and their holdings are probably relatively speaking a worthless part of their portfolio. If things turn out bad, they just shrug their shoulders, write it off and try to forget about the mistake as quickly as possible. They sure as hell are not going to make any problems, they don't want to draw attention to their investment mistakes. I've been there...... If one wants to play tricks the Zimbabwean company itself will not be stolen but the interests in it will probably shift and not in your advantage. I am curious how all this will unfold. | greedfear
21/7/2015 20:44 | Have you got Mugabe's email address? | taxibabe
21/7/2015 20:10 | Why not just e-mail Deering , Ning and co and ask them if they are crooks ? And e-mail Mugabe and ask him what he will do if someone attempts to steal a Zimbabwe company .... | juju44
21/7/2015 19:45 | prefip. There no buyers for large nos. 3 million shares worth £30k went through and the shares dropped nearly 10$ | taxibabe
21/7/2015 19:21 | I understand the Chinese have a large holding, but so do a number of other investors - including fund managers. Why are these professional people not selling up? Anyone know? | preflp
21/7/2015 18:28 | JujuAnd just to add, IF you wish to check, the previous share register snapshots me at around 2.8mill | apfindley
21/7/2015 18:25 | JujuI had over 3.5mill at one point.I shall post my views.Thank you. | apfindley
21/7/2015 17:11 | Because of Asmo an another delisting comes to mind: RGT. Has been quite a succes story too. :) If you are a masochist that is. | greedfear
21/7/2015 17:09 | Redtrend- The delistings I've been in were never because of bankruptcies or alikes, but always about cost savings, prevailing shareholder value, unfavorable market conditions to raise equity, directors being too busy with all the administrative tasks because of the listing and could use that time better for the core business blahdeeblahblah..... Last one I can recall was Orchid development group. I believe that disaster started with nomad replacement, or better non replacement, too and a subsequent delisting because of it. End of story: the little man ended up holding nada. If things go wrong here, it are probably the subsidiaries where the funny things take place. Little chance fighting for your rights in some African (Zimbabwean)court against a Chinese company. If they delist it will be end of story and nothing of any value will remain. Just speculating offcourse, IMO and DYOR and all that. Anyway, best of luck holders. | greedfear
21/7/2015 16:51 | I have just a toe left in the water now, having been here since John Teeling's time. No more "fun" shares for me now, not being a masochist! I am just left with Lucara diamonds, which comes up with amazingly good figures, and even pays a dividend, but the share price just stagnates. And Stella diamonds which is also a disaster, for me. However my high-yielding Investment trust portfolio is doing fine. so what?, I hear you cry. | asmodeus
21/7/2015 16:36 | juju44 fairly sure most here have got out or at least halved their holding. Its just too risky for the majority of punters to risk being in an unquoted investment. Most here paid about 2p so we lost just under half, I guess. | taxibabe
21/7/2015 16:01 | How many of you negatives have a holding here ? If you dont why are you here ? | juju44
21/7/2015 15:31 | Once suspended brokers will value them at Zero, and they will be almost impossible to trade - even to realise as a tax loss . Good work Dearing - you must have been well paid. | gfrae
21/7/2015 15:07 | They have valuable assets in bindura and Freda.Do you really believe that if all was ok in the boardroom, that it would take this long to find a nomad??Even a bucketshop nomad would trip over themselves to be elected here, however they can see what the Chinese are doing, and it's a route to delisting from the market and running the company exactly as they want and taking the profits for themselves. From 4:30 friday you may not be able to trade these again. | apfindley
21/7/2015 13:39 | Jacks13 If I told you I was in discussions with my granny sally to buy up MWA for its true asset value, i.e. circa 20p, you would probably believe it. What discussion can there be, the company needs a nomad to retain access to the market and finance and for credibility, and to provide an exit route for shareholders. Unless your seriously suggesting that MWA are conducting a beauty parade of several NOMADS? | taxibabe
21/7/2015 11:45 | scaremongerers busy here today........... | thecynical1
21/7/2015 11:36 | They told us in the 9th July rns that they were in discussions with a number of Nomad and Broker firms and that there is every expectation that an appointment will be made within the required time frame. A new advisor will need to do due diligence and an appointment announced on Friday is soon enough. Perhaps I'm naive; I'll find out on Friday! | jacks13 |
