Considering buying in here, but must say the actions of Schroders who were supportive of rejecting the various bids as they undervalued the business at a massively higher level then the current 8p , and now selling at these levels baffles me, this Andy Brough is a right clown quite clearly.

Just bought in on the hope that they are going to turn this around. A lot of resources and a track record of business in the past. I am hoping this is the turning point...

I don't think Mouchel will win all of that work but they have to declare their interest and focus on the lucrative projects with good margins and which compliments their core skills. They are targeting 10% margins so if the have restructured their pipeline to focus on these opportunities, then to be left with £1Bn is pretty good. Obviously they won't win all of it, but they do have a good strike rate. That's all.

Apart from the much talked about d4e..no one knows what the other options are...but there are lots of them that have the potetial to release value. £1Bn worth of orders and over a potential £1Bn in the pipeline should not be ignored, plus the expansion plans. I won't be surprised if this company gets fought over..lots of international movers would like this as it opens lots of doors to markets. The brand is sound.

I am bemused as to why this share is rising, especially since the share will most likely be strongly diluted. Despite continued support from the banks, they are still stating that the share will be diluted.

Careful if you are shorting this as this has the habit of moving upwards on no news..albeit steadily.. but if there is a whiff of goodish news then as usual the market will overshoot on the upside just as overshooting on the downside recently. Long weekend ahead and news has a habit of forming when markets are closed. I think it's had it's down day's for now, so maybe up day's are back for you traders. Of course t/o talks could be ongoing before anything needs releasing to markets as well could be the financial restructure proposals and how this can positively impact on Mouchel through banking/financial support / partnering. Contract wins still a possibility aswell which will definitely improve sentiment. All to paly for I would say.

Sheffield - depends on the spin that goes on it IMO. Carillion will rightly claim it as their's if it goes that way.

Do "subcontractors" share the limelight? (Rhetorical question)

Might give it a small boost I guess as at least *some* work might filter through, but not the headline-grabbing "mouchel wins massive new contract" boost some may be expecting!

Interesting to note Carillion are down as well though, so maybe there is no good news here??

Will see soon

DYOR. YMMV. (etc., etc.)

I did notice that. I should of waited ; )

Don't you think a positive on SHeffield will give this a little boost? I hope so, then some can get out at a better price (whoppy). Any rise will be instantly sold into (and rightly so).

I'm done with trading it. I wanted to keep the short open but.....you never know what can happen Lol

Well done ;-)

Any time you wanna jump in on the "Great SAP depreciation debate" on LSE (this share) feel free.

BTW, it did just dip below 7p momentarily...

PFI news might stop that this week Pikey. Seems to have a floor at 7p. However, over the last few days I have been watching many 50k batches going though, so any holdings RNS's declaring decreased holdings, will finally kill this.

I closed out my short today. Happy to have recovered some losses.

Next stop 5p. Then 3p.

WOOSTER4, agreed. Long-term (in this share) does seem to be more by accident than design ;-)
